"This my 4th stay and it’s been great every time!"

"The room was generally clean, however there was a tile missing in the bathroom and the shower leaked quite a bit when we used it. There was mold around the shower grab bar. There was some sort of green goo as we entered the building and we cleaned it ourselves before the maid made it up to the room to clean it for us. The staff was friendly and bright generally speaking. The breakfast was small but nice and had a few hot items as well as your typical cold items. There was plenty of parking. It was located in a convenient area close to Carowinds and other stores. Overall we liked it, but probably wouldn't stay again because I don't like green goo greeting us or mold in the shower. My wife also didn't like the lack of storage. There was also no safe, or pool, or hot tub."

"I’ll be began by saying that the staff was amazing. Everyone was super kind and helpful. When I checked into my room, I took a look around and realized that the photos on the website aren’t the best representation of the rooms. The hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The lobby looks amazing, but doesn’t reflect what the rest of the building looks like. The first room that I checked into smelled like Clorox or some other cleaning solution but unfortunately they missed the headboard. The headboard had some kind of fluid that had been smeared. I informed the front desk who immediately upgraded my room. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. There was dust on the headboard, chipped wood on the TV console, an older AC unit, what looked like cigarette burns on the top of the lampshade. If I was staying in Charlotte for longer than one night, I would have changed hotels. I appreciate it how professional the staff was, but unfortunately, the rooms aren’t the best. Also, the parking lot was a whole different situation. There were people smoking marijuana in their cars, and a guy walking in front of the hotel at night, asking for money. When I told the staff person at checkout about my experience, she politely waived the parking fee, which I think was $15. I would not stay here again."
