"I will admit the first night we arrived I was miserable in our first room. It was room 215 I believe and we were right by the elevator and it was extremely loud. On top of it the room was extremely dark and felt like a dingy cave! The room was not as updated, toilet ran all night, the window looked out at a wall and honestly we were extremely unhappy. However, the next morning I spoke with the front desk and let them know I was very upset at the room they placed me in as it was not the experience I had the last time I had booked a room there. We go there a few times a year to go to Carowinds. I requested a different room and was very glad I did as we were moved to a room on the first floor and it was very bright and clean! I was very pleased with the front desk moving us to a room that was worthy, especially since we were staying there for three days. I purchased two rooms for the whole weekend and one for Friday night. I spent a lot of money for that weekend and once we moved to our new room we were so happy. We loved the bed linens in the second room also. They were so soft and comfortable! Very clean opposed to our first night linens as well.Although the first night was not the greatest, the hotel and staff made up for it the rest of our stay. The breakfast was delicious!
My suggestion for the hotel is to remodel room 215 to make it bearable to stay in!!! it was awful!"
