“This place is a hidden gem. The cabin was very roomy, clean and comfortable. We were on the road for over a week and stayed many places. This was by far our favorite and the most relaxing. The outdoor common area with cooking equipment, corn hole, hammocks and an amazing view of Mount Shasta is amazing. Good food is available nearby as well. If you want a reprieve this is where you want to be.”

“I was totally shocked that we actually rented a whole space where they host events. It is a massive space inside and out with a full bar and commercial kitchen. Is it a small town? Yes. But they have essentially everything you need. 2 gas stations, a meat market, grocery store and a pizza joint all within a 5 minute walk. And then the view of Mt Shasta....gorgeous. 100% recommended!”

“It was so peaceful and beautiful with an amazing view of Mount Shasta! The cabin we stayed in was really nice, comfortable bed and cozy couch to enjoy a movie on the tv in the evenings, which they have plenty of apps avaliable, like Netflix, to use. We especially loved sitting on the porch at night enjoying a glass of wine and the ambience of the stringed lights they have up in the shared courtyard. It's also peaceful sitting out there in the mornings with tea and coffee. Definitely keeping this……

“Thank you for maintaining the cabin for visitors. We truly enjoyed the overall atmosphere, and our children especially loved the place — they’re already asking to come back! The outdoor hammocks were a big plus and added to the relaxing vibe. That said, we did notice a few areas that could use some attention: the shower curtain had some red mold, the toilet had a yellow ring in the water area, and some of the white cups had coffee stains. “This was our third visit to Cabin 6. It has really charmed us and has become a place we look forward to seeing. Being returning guests, we noticed that the property owners continue to upgrade the property and the room itself, including a new HVAC system that works very quickly to warm the room. We love to have dinner out in Shasta, but always use the full kitchen for some of our meals and save a little money.Looking forward to making our way back to basecamp!”
