Great property

Property is as advertised. Very clean on arrival. Plenty of firewood for both fireplaces. Hot tub was very clean. Very well decorated. The Vacasa interaction was impressive... much better than some of their competitors.. would diffenitely revisit this property.

Fabulous

Angels Landing is truly a haven for those seeking relaxation and tranquility! The property is so peaceful and the view is breathtaking. The house is spacious and provides ample room for friends and/or family. The kitchen also has a nice supply of cookware, utensils, etc. We highly recommend this home!

What a view!!

The view of the lake was breathtaking. We didn’t need any customer service as they communicated all the details clearly and efficiently and the house was as advertised. Exceptional value and didn’t require a full week to be booked.

A perfect house for winter getaway.

First of all, the view of the lake from the hill is stunning! The house itself is clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. The bedrooms are nice, the furniture is great and the house spacious and well equipped. The pool table, hot tub, and lower floor added that extra luxury and got a lot of use. I could see us visiting again.

Beautiful View!

Large, very clean home. Nice pool table and great clean hot tub ready to jump in! The cabinets and screen doors could use a little maintenance, but not a big deal. Great house and space for everyone to spread out. Warm and welcoming! Enjoy the great view of the lake!

Great view, lovely home, well equipped.

We celebrated our mom’s 80th birthday at Angel’s Landing. Everyone was comfortable and anything we needed was right there. Beautiful view and well equipped. Got a little warm in the house during the sunny part of the day but cooled down during the evening. Enjoyed the hot tub!! We had a terrific time! Thank you!!!

Family reunion

Our stay was superb! Our family came and really enjoyed the house. Our only complaint with the house was that it was extraordinarily hot for the lake, so the beautiful panoramic windows invited the heat and caused the AC units to work hard. With the AC not keeping up with the daytime needs of those of us in the house, it was pretty uncomfortable. .The house stayed warm into the evening, and cooled down again through the night. We could not find the key to the hot tub, so we called the first night. We expected to get a call back or at least see someone the next day, but didn’t. Thankfully, our son in law discovered a new key hanging on the hook near the hot tub two nights in. We were told we would see the fireworks from the house, but we did not. We did see a few being set off by private homes further away. The house was the perfect size for us all. It would have been nice to have more outdoor chairs on the top porch so that more of us could sit and enjoy the view.

Wonderful mountain home

We rented this property with friends for the 4th of July. The view of the lake was spectacular. The deck was due for some repairs, but overall we had a fantastic experience. Would rent again!

We had a blast at this house - the views were unbeatable and the location was very convenient for the fall activities we enjoyed during our visit. I have to agree with the other reviews about cleanliness. Nothing was outright dirty, but there were definite signs that the place hadn't seen a deep cleaning in a while. The layout of the house was great for us, plenty of space to hang out together but also to split up and do our own thing in different spots (the great room, downstairs play/game room, on the porch, in the hot tub, etc). We contacted Vacasa as instructed to report issues (one of the showers had an issue with the showerhead spraying all over the place). While they responded immediately, they never sent anyone out to resolve the issue and never reached out to confirm it was fixed. We used other showers in the house to get by, but that was disappointing.

Angel's Landing was a rare treat.

The home is dated, but the layout met our family's needs and gave us privacy, as well as areas large enough for the group to enjoy time together. The views and location are outstanding!! Loved the deck!!I will say this house needs attention. We noticed A storm door was broken before we arrived. Needs pest control for earwigs, spiders. Closets and cabinets are cluttered. The home needs a deep cleaning.

Friends and Family get together

The cabin is in a nice area with a fantastic view of Deep Creek lake. It was clean and stocked with kitchen supplies, bathing towels and soaps. I would recommend arriving before dark, the GPS was a little off when we arrived and made it a little tricky finding the driveway. When we tried to open the windowns on the 2nd floor for airflow all of the screens were ripped and we were not able to keep them open. Overall the cabin was great and we would recommend.

Great view, questionable AC

The view of the lake and the whole valley, is amazing from the property. However, a few important items are in need of repair or replacement. The screens on all of the screen doors are torn significantly. This wouldn’t have been as big of a problem if the air conditioning was working, but most of the units in the house were not cooling properly. Therefore, having the doors and windows open to try to get airflow through the house was not ideal without proper screens. The kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking and the decks have comfortable chairs for enjoying the view. The king bed is very firm.

A great battery recharge in June

We had hoped to spend the entire vacation on the water and use our rental as an evening retreat. Instead it was cold and rainy and we curled up and rarely left the house! The pool table got a lot of use as did the fireplace and hot tub. We cooked meals, went on short walks when the bear let us and sat in the very clean hot tub. Why did I not give this place a fifth star? The screens in the doors were completely ripped so that we couldn’t have cross ventilation when it was warmer. I called maintenance about these the first day but it wasn’t until our last full day that they were able to get someone over and we declined because our dogs is afraid of strangers. The screen/glass doors didn’t completely shut and we didn’t want the dogs to push them open when they saw the bear or the cute resident woodchuck. There were a number of hazardously scratched cooking pans that we couldn’t use. I told maintenance about these and hope they remove them before the next tenants arrive. It sounds nit picky but when you pay to rent a house certain items should just work. All that being said it is a lovely house with a gorgeous view and we would definitely come back.

Vacation at Angels Landing

We enjoyed staying at the Angels Landing house and would stay there again. I reduced the rating to 4 because I was disappointed with the items listed below. (1) Vacasa's response to come out and fixing a couple of issues. I notified them about the issues the day I arrived, but did not hear back from the local repair people for 4 days and no one showed up before we left to fix the issues. (2) The temp in the primary bedroom was 81 degrees and the A/C unit would not cool down the room. The unit would run for a couple minutes & turned back off again. After investigating, I discovered that the flap in the exhaust vent on the exterior of the house was stuck in the closed position. Once I clamped the vent flap open with a binder clip, the unit continued to run and cooled the room down. (3) The smoke detector in the lower level was chirping ever minute or so. There were no spare batteries available. The next day, I purchased and installed a new battery and the chirping stopped. (4) Vacasa should provide instructions for the keyless lock used to access the house. It took me awhile and some internet searching to figure out that you must enter the lock code to lock the door from the outside. (5) Weak WiFi on the upper levels & connection frequently dropped on upper deck. Access point should be moved out of laundry room to open space of 2nd/main level to provide better signal thru out the house and on deck.
