Relaxing Getaway
Our 9 family members truly enjoyed this home. It's big and spacious and flooded with light. The deck views are spectacular, especially at sunset.
The house has wonderful amenities like the movie projector in the game room. And we especially loved how all the kitchen cabinets are marked so you know where to find the things you need! :) The hot tub is really lovely. It was warm when we were there so we didn't get a chance to use the fire pit. It's a wonderful house and we immediately felt at home.
The reservation and check-in process was very easy. I especially appreciated the email Railey sent the day before we left with the check-out instructions. Usually, I have to go back online and dig for those. Everything was just very smooth and simple.
It was only our second time to Deep Creek and we absolutely loved the area. We loved visiting the Simon Pearce glass factory and all the small shops in the area.
The only disappointment was Railey's two-dog limit for all their rentals. We're an extended family and we all have dogs. I'd already booked the place when I realized that I'd missed this fact on the listing. When I asked, there was no way to pay more for additional pets. So, my brother ended up renting a small place nearby so we could honor the rule. We had a lovely and smooth experience with Railey, but unfortunately we won't be able to rent their properties for family vacations going forward. The dogs are just part of the family.
