Calming atmosphere

It was very nice, but we had trouble with the washer and it flooded the downstairs. My husband and son spent hours trying to mop up the water. We checked out a week before we had to due to the washer problem.

Good location, but entrance and property management were poor

First, the good. Villages of Wisp (development) is perfectly located by the lake and slopes, and provides convenient access to grocery store, 219, etc. The property has been nicely updated (baths) with a facelift on the kitchen and paint that make it inviting. We appreciated finding a place that allowed us to bring our two pups. Now to the bad- there are dozens of steps that lead from the parking spot to the lower level entrance- something that’s not visible on any of the photos. The steps are broken in spots and have no lighting, so they are treacherous at night for even an able-bodied person. And it made for a very difficult planned visit with my mother, who is disabled. Second, and maybe this is to be expected, but I’ve rented homes on VRBO before and never have had a home be so poorly equipped with products. We rented for 3 nights and received one trash bag, one dishwasher pod and two rolls of toilet paper (for 3 bathrooms). Now clearly we can (and did) go buy additional items at the store, but it would have been a far more enjoyable visit if we hadn’t had to buy a box of trash bags and another dishwasher pod and hand soap, when these things should be covered in the nearly $900 worth of fees tacked onto the rental cost - and perhaps given in lieu of Railey Realty marketing materials.

Dirty smelled like animals

It was dirty Bugs Smelled like animals But the beds were comfortable at least Definitely not worth the money we paid

Great for skiing

Great small townhome. Mostly clean and great access to slopes. Only down sides is the gaps on door jabs let in a ton of cold air. We built barriers because basement was 15 degrees colder where all the kids were sleeping. Other than that, great location and hot tub was a blessing.
