Despite some issues related to the house’s age and maintenance, our stay was enjoyable. The snowfall during our visit added a magical touch, and we had a memorable time with family and friends celebrating the New Year. The location, view, and amenities like the hot tub and game area were definite highlights. Pros: • The house is spacious. • It features a charming outdoor area, including a hot tub. • Conveniently located, a 5-minute drive to Wisp. • The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary items and then some. • A great view that adds to the overall experience. • Includes a game area with pool and foosball table. Cons: • The houses wear and tear is noticeable including loose fridge handles, cracked tile, running toilets. • Management is handled by a reality company, not directly through Vrbo, and theyl don’t communicate through this app but through their own systems. • The pullout bed upstairs is completely broken. • Toilet in one of the upstairs bedrooms ran constantly. We had to turn the water off to it after every use. • Although the hot tub is chlorinated, it wasn’t as clean as expected. • The property experienced a septic overflow, but the response was prompt. • The TV is small and outdated, although this was not a significant concern for us.

We had 3 generations here for a family reunion in Frostburg. Overall the place was nice. Enough room for us to spread out. The only downside was the hot tub. It desperately needs a new cover. Was clean and useable but pieces of the cover kept falling into the tub.

Make sure your neighbors understand the noise ordance

Beautiful home and location BUT our neighbor house was a young group who were drunk with loud music and dance party til after midnight. We went over there at 11:30pm to ask them to turn down the music but they were so drunk they laughed. The 2nd night they swore at us and screamed to get off their property. We tried to call Railey Vacations but no one answered that late. Bad night sleeps for everyone on that side of the house.

Family GetAway At the Lake

Family members from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, and California came together for a week of fun. We enjoyed tubing and waterskiing on Deep Creek Lake as well as kayaking. The house has a relaxing view of the lake and the stars.

Beautiful views, and wonderful amenities. Very peaceful and was in a great spot in relation to the slopes. The one thing I would say in relation to the ski-in ski-out access was that it went to a black diamond, which was a little much for some in our group. But the lift to the top of the slope wasn't that much of a walk up from the neighborhood access point. Would definitely go here again.
