"Super spacious and well-located duplex, one of the cleanest our group has stayed in! Thoughtfully furnished (comfy beds/pillow, places to hang our clothes, soft lighting and lamps everywhere) and supplies for everything we needed (plenty of towels, trash bags, soap in bathrooms and kitchen.) Check in and out was easy with solid communication and no problems with key pad, and appreciated the snacks and coffee set up for us. The hosts were flexible at checkout so we could leave our luggage there for an extra hour to run out for a bite before leaving our trip. We spent tons of time hanging out in the living room and front porch areas and found it cozy, inviting and comfortable! While 4 of us were able to connect to WiFi without issue, the speed was slow enough that we would make different arrangements if we needed to work more, but wasn’t an issue for us this trip."

"Home is as described. Nicely updated and plenty of room for my family of 5. The home was clean and in a nice area. The front porch was comfy and shaded. I enjoyed reading and people watching in private. I enjoyed the walkability to the lake, parks and coffee shops. My young daughter was easily able to do all the walking. Downtown was also very short drive. Communication was handled in a timely manner. Overall, I would recommend this home."

"Staying here was similar to having my own boutique hotel. The house is decorated in an eclectically, fun style where you just say “wow” I get to stay here. We were a family of 6 people staying at the house for a wedding. We had plenty of room - we didn’t use all of the bedrooms. Our young adult children loved having the upstairs to watch TV and play games. We also had family over for dinner one night and cousins over for birthday lunch after the wedding. There was plenty of space in main downstairs area for us all to visit. The location was ideal for walking to the lake daily or walking in the historic district. By having a designated parking area we didn’t worry about street parking - we did street parking in front of the house when it was available on busy 4th of July Weekend.Emily was a wonderful host. I hope I get to stay at her beautiful house on any future trips I have to Milwaukee. Note: there are stairs at both entrances - my mom (80yrs old) needed help going up and down but was able to navigate them on her visits to the house."

"The home was beautiful and in a great location. It also has excellent parking.Our main concern was that the sleeping arrangements did not match the listing description. We booked the property under the impression that it had 5-6 bedrooms, each with at least one king or queen bed, including one bedroom with two king beds. In reality, there are four bedrooms with a king or queen bed (some with an additional pullout couch), and one of them doesn’t have a door. The fifth bedroom is two twin beds.We asked the host and they were pretty responsive. But the host identified a sixth bedroom connected to another room, but it is a very small space with a futon rather than a traditional bedroom or the queen/king beds listed in the description. Additionally, the bedroom described in the listing as having two king beds does not exist.The house worked well enough for our group, but prospective guests should be aware that the listing’s bedroom configuration is not accurately represented and that there is limited private sleeping space compared to what the description suggests."
