One of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever seen and very pleasant decor. Nice linens, good TV. I didn't use the Jacuzzi, but would have if I had a more leisurely trip. Walkable location and it felt safe. The breakfast choices were great, but are only available 8-10 AM, so that got my day off to a bit of a late start.

This is a very nice small, local Hotel above a pub in the northeast part of downtown Milwaukee. There is a lively bar crowd with patio in front, but this was not a problem midweek in late October. The room was comfortable and the hotel has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. Its about a 30 minute walk to central downtown, or you can walk a block and catch the Free City Transit Tram that circles Milwaukee downtown. This is a simple hotel, not pretentious, glamorous or luxurious.

We had a great stay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was a nice way to start the day, with a good variety of options. We also enjoyed the bar, which was a relaxing place to unwind after a day of traveling. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would recommend this place to other travelers. If you’re planning a trip, this is a comfortable and convenient option for a relaxing stay.

Not your typical downtown hotel! We found County Clare Inn & Pub on Expedia while looking for a 2-night stay in downtown Milwaukee. Most hotels downtown are big with tiny rooms, very expensive, hard to get in/out of, and nothing is typically included. At County Clare parking was easy (and FREE), breakfast was included, and the rooms were HUGE! Attached is a nice Irish Pub with a full lunch/dinner menu. Very convenient to downtown and in a rather quiet neighborhood!
