We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. In that time, the room was not cleaned, no fresh towels, no coffee for the machine in the room. We went to the desk to inquire about that and were told that the policy is to not clean at all unless you stay more than 3 nights. Only they forgot to TELL us that we had to request things we wanted from the desk. And too bad if you throw a takeout food container or diaper in your wastebasket... And since there are no good places to hang up a used towel, I am not sure how THAT is supposed to work. If you are going to have a policy like this, let guests know and make the amenities we need readily available. Also, give us a place to dump our trash.
And how about charging less??? Allegedly this makes the hotel "greener", but the truth is that it lets them have fewer staff and save money.
Also, there is heavy construction going on right next door to the hotel (like 10 feet away). The heavy machines start moving earth at 7 am, and as they back up, they go "beep! beep! beep!" Heaven help anyone who had a late night or is hung over.
