Beautiful location at the start (or end) of Flat Tops scenic byway! So quiet and peaceful. We slept in Sage Hill with windows open to the cool breeze. Note that Sage Hill has a bed in the loft and you climb a ladder to get to it. There's also a twin size bed in a little nook. Restaurants and groceries are nearby in Meeker. Great staff.

Fun place to stay on the edge of town. Check in was super easy. I had a late arrival time so they just texted me the code to unlock my unit. My tiny home was great. The only thing I would have LOVED was an extra blanket or two. Other than that, I loved the location and the vibe.

It is a tiny home, but the sloped roof with a bed at the top, you cain't roll over with out hitting the roof or wall. Couldn't sleep well, not comfortable. The smell of the place was terrible. smelled musty and shut up, maybe even mousey. After we got home our stuff still smelled of it. Our tv turned on by itself at 11:45 at night. Was not the best experience.

Positives: Saturday (6/13) staff person was extremely helpful and went out of her way to help us. Yurt was roomy and bed was comfortable. Negatives: bathrooms are not well maintained; laundry room was extremely filthy, dirt, lint cig butts & mouse droppings all over. Need to have a property map in room; saying laundry is at #1 bathroom and not tell where that is and not have # on bathrooms is useless.

We paid for our stay when we made our reservation. The morning we were to leave for our trip, my husband had a severe asthma attack, which landed him in the hospital for 4 days. I contacted Trail and Hitch when my husband was in the ER, letting them know that we would not be able to make our trip. I received a message back from them stating that I did not meet their 7 day window for cancellation. Regardless of our circumstances, they would not consider refunding any of our money. Due to this terrible customer service, we will not ever consider a stay here; nor will we advise any family of friends to stay. Very disappointed!

The property was not well maintained. Lights didn’t work, the stove was greasy, microwave dirty, toaster oven was full of crumbs. doors and baseboards unwashed, stuff lodged in the corners of the floor, stairs not vacuumed, and very few utensils. We had two forks, two butter knives and no teaspoons. The porch was dirty. And the outside table had knive carvings. The advertisement should have read: change up your hunting cabin for a tiny home. We would have expected a rustic experience and not expected a clean, well-maintained tiny home. The advertising lead us to believe it was more like a resort experience than a place for hunters to hang their gear and drink beer.
