Great Melbourne option

Don’t go past this one for Melbourne accommodation. Spotless quiet parking at door great tv entertainment. Hotel has food but so close to amazing western suburbs eclectic options. Bargain

We had everything we needed for an overnight stay at the Guiding Star motel. Easy check in and check out, rooms are very clean and fairly updated. For what we needed, it was perfect! A great location too - off the freeway from Ballarat side and close to the city.

This was a great little place to stay. Great reception staff. Recently refurbished rooms - way nicer than most similar hotels for the price. Very clean. Very comfortable. Couldn't really fault it.

We needed affordable accommodation at short notice for a trip to Melbourne and were lucky enough to find the Guiding Star. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and despite being close to a main road, very quiet! The service staff were very keen to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a very affordable stay in Melbourne, keep this place on your list!
