Good location but overall a disappointing stay

Overall the stay was OK but we were slightly disappointed. First, the reviews on the website/app is actually for the whole block/adjacent hotel rather than the actual room so it is misleading. Also on first arrival, we thought people were actually living there - overseas visitors need to be able to call/email the host on arrival to arrange a key pick up (there is no front desk or concierge - note potential roaming charges) - it felt like a short term let of a personal apartment. The drawers and cupboards were full of personal belongings so it did not feel overly comfortable. Other inconvenient things like an empty drink bottle in the kitchen, half eaten ketchup pot and a floppy shower head holder in the master bedroom ensuite is not what you expect when paying so much for a 'suite'. The location, however, was great. It was very close to the central station.

THIS IS A SCAM APARTMENT. DO NOT BOOK HERE. The number for the hotel does not answer despite 30+ failed calls to the registered number. Nor do they respond to emails. These are long term rent apartments and it is apparently illegal to rent them out short term. I’m in the middle of the very frustrating process of trying to acquire a refund from them, with no luck, because a refund can not be issued without a response from the hotel. Dead end, dead end, dead end. Save yourself the hassle and DO NOT book this apartment.

Awe full cleanness, dog hair and human hair in the bed sheet and pillow. No wash machine. There are a lot of other people’s personal item left in the wardrobe. Room don’t have window.

Perfect location in Melbourne CBD

Perfectly situated if you want to be in the very center of Melbourne. Good sized and nicely furnished apartment with everything you need and the kids loved the rooftop pool (though sometimes a bit too crowded since it is shared with entire building). A small (and pretty expensive) grocery store nearby, also restaurants that serve breakfast in the neighbourhood. Big shopping streets within walking distance as well as the Queen Victoria Market. Smooth check-in and check-out process and all contact with apartment hosts via Whatsup. Only downside really was the cleanliness of the apartment. Bathrooms were not properly cleaned when we moved in, food still in fridge and freezer, old towels hanging in a cupboard, balcony not possible to use since so dirty. Got an apology, but no action or compensation. Also after a few days, there was this terrible smell in one of the bathrooms. The reason was old pipes and the host quickly helped us solve it. All in all, the perfect situation, the nice apartment and the pool outweighs the cleanliness flaws.

Very disappointing

we didn’t enjoy our stay 😡 as no one did the sofa bed for the 5th person And I paid for 5 and it was the biggest disappointment ever during our trip to Melbourne 😡😡😡😡 We are unhappy As beds are very smelly And sheets crunchy and microwave so is the Tv not in a working condition and no iron or laundry Not enough towels
