“Spent 3 nights in Batty’s barn for a wedding where our family stayed in all 3 properties on the farm. The farm is beautiful with loads of colours from the wild flowers. The welcome basket with bread, butter, jam etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Ed was super helpful so much so member of the wedding party broke down in the day of the wedding and he helped bringing the family member to the wedding venue being a true life saver! Beds were lovely and comfy and the house was lovely……

Probably the best we've stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places over years. Garden fenced well and secure for the Dog. You can access short walks from the house but its only 15 min to walking beaches like NT cogden etc. and Symondsbury 1 mile up the road. So we had a very enjoyable few days.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and hosts. The home is so well appointed, down to the silverware. Every detail is rich and inviting. Please ask for the breakfast. If the weather is beautiful you can ask for breakfast in the garden. Fresh orange juice, coffee/tea, and home made warm from the oven croissants and chocolate croissants. For a very reasonable price. Ask about watching a sunset from the ruins of a Roman fort! The owner has a wonderful map with local sites and……

“A beautiful old farmhouse with a lovely large garden in a lovely area. We enjoyed ourselves and the property was very clean and well presented. A minor issue (shower fell apart in one bathroom) was resolved quickly and with no fuss or question. We all felt a few more consumables would have been provided for a property of this size and quality. Many others we have stayed in over the years have provided a few bin bags for example (we were given one spare) and we had to move light bulbs about when……

“Excellent cottage! Super quirky and perfect for a large group. My husband’s family all met at the Langham vineyard (jut 8 minute’s drive up the road from the accommodation) to celebrate his 50th ; adults, kids, dog…we had a wonderful time and carried on the celebrations with an evening of chat in the comfortable lounge and some food in the spacious dining area before heading to bed (all 10 of us). “Cute little home that is well loved and maintained. We loved the little gatd for coffee in the morning. The host was very communicative. It was hot and we had windows open so it was loud outside as the property is right on the street. Loved the beach cottage! Notice though that the "shower" is a actually a tub under a slanted roof with a hand sprayer. My 6'5" husband had a very difficult time with the set up. But there really isn't any sort of option with the size and layout of the bathroom for……
