Despite being a throwback to the 70’s our room was clean and mattresses fine. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was simple - toast, cereal, juice, mini muffins and apples. No butter or margarine. The lobby and breakfast area smelled a little old and musty. I will say the staff were great!

The property was fairly clean and reasonably priced. The air conditioner struggled to keep the room bearable. There is no longer a pool or hot tub. According to the staff it is permanently closed. Overall the room serves its purpose but would definitely not make it a destination

The breakfast consisted of white bread (that you could toast). 2 hard boiled eggs (there were 2 of us) cold cereal apple juice and coffee with sugar and artificial milk. Everything was clean enough. Guybat front desk was nice when I checked in. Discovered that the restaurant is closed. Went to our room and made a quick run to get some food. Laid down in bed for a moment. It's fine, so long as you know that the mattress frame on the side is hard and the mattress itself does go down a few inches (shark on the back of the legs). After dinner, went for a shower. Water might have been room temperature. Ok, I've been to lots of hotels that only regenerate hot water at night. I'll go ask. Nope, boiler broke a whole ago and won't be fixed before I leave. Would have been really nice to know that beforehand, even when to be told when I checked in. If it wasn't for the water, I probably would have rated it 3 or 4 stars.
