"Old town Melaka in this hotel our suite was spacious and the bathroom was modern and beautiful. The bed was spacious and lounge chair amazing. Enjoyed the walkable tours . Food suggestions and many options to eat and shop. This hotel was over 100 years d with Asian inlays and carved furnishings. The Portuguese architecture was awesome blended with Chinese decor. Enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to stay here again. "
"Very friendly staff. They need to hire more reliable staff to ensure the rooms are cleaned and the toiletries and drinks are replenished before the guest returns.
The pillows provided are too soft so it would be good if they offer different options for pillows.
The hotel is conveniently located near malls and is not far from Jonker street.
Overall, my family spent 2 relaxing days there."

"Stayed for 4 nights and it was lovely. Breakfast was good, an easy walk to the night market. Any questions we had were quickly answered by staff. Room is a little rundown but nothing incredibly noticeable unless you really focus on it. All in all would definitely stay next time I come to Melaka."

It is just a bit confused at the beginning that Casa Del Rio is a hotel, but Casa Del Rio Residence is another building located next to the hotel, with no reception - so please do read the check-in instruction sent via WhatsApp carefully, as there's no reception available to help you to check-in/out.
