This lodging is ideally located between the perched villages of Ménerbes and Oppède.

Eight days in the Menerbes

Un charmant gîte de deux chambres dans un endroit parfait pour explorer la région. Bien équipé pour répondre à vos besoins. Belle terrasse pour le café du matin et l'apéritif du soir. Le propriétaire est sur place si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit, mais n'est pas intrusif dans votre espace privé. Hautement recommandé ! Nous reviendrons ! A charming two bedroom gite in a perfect location for exploring the region. Well equipped to satisfy your needs. Lovely terrace for morning coffee and evening aperitif. Owner is on premises should you need anything but is not intrusive into your private area. Highly recommend! We will be back!

Beautiful setting, lovely home,with all that we needed. Close to Ménerbes, Gordes, and the Luberon. Both baths are great. We were greeted each evening on our return by the host’s sweet dog. We were missing our two. If this is not your thing, he understands no.

Entspannter Urlaub bei netter Gastgeberin

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche bei Evelyne. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, hat einen tollen Ausblick, abseits und ruhig gelegen, was für uns genau das richtige war. Der Pool war sehr gepflegt und bei den Temperaturen goldwert. Leider gab es erst nachmittags dort etwas Schatten durch einen Baum. Insgesamt sehr viel Charme (auch Menerbes als Ort), für uns genau richtig. Wer aber alles perfekt und akkurat braucht, findet dort nicht seine komplette Zufriedenheit... :)

Wundervolles Haus in wundervoller Umgebung

Wir haben als Familie einen wunderschönen und entspannten Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus und der sehr gepflegte Pool laden zum Verweilen ein. Die Umgebung ist malerisch und bietet vieles zum Entdecken. Mit dem Auto ist alles gut zu erreichen. Evelyn ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin die im Hintergrund bleibt, aber bei Fragen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite steht. Unseren Kindern hat es besonders Minette angetan. Die Provence haben wir nicht zum letzten Mal besucht.

Wir hatten 3 schöne, erholsame Urlaubswochen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieterin ist super lieb und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder dorthin.

Stunning and peaceful hideaway in the heart of Provence

Beautiful, spacious gite at the back of the owner's house overlooking a vineyard. What could be more pleasant? We were met by Eveline, the owner, who greeted us warmly and showed us around. She was a lovely host, there if you needed her, but discreet to let you get on with your holiday. We loved the patio overlooking the vines which was shaded for breakfast and lunch. The pool was a good size so you can do some proper swimming. We walked into Menerbes on a couple of occasions, which took 30 minutes. For the boulangerie we recommend driving to the bottom of the gite road and parking by the community centre before ascending a short way on foot into Menerbes, as it is on the approach road to the village centre. It also has a few other useful essentials such as loo roll! The main supermarket, Super U, is a 10 minute drive away. There is so much to see and do in the area, as well as wanting time to relax by the pool. A week was not long enough! Highlights included Menerbes, Gourdes, Roussillon, the Colorado Provencal, Saignon, a trip to Cassis and the Calanques and an afternoon in Aix. All fabulous! Merci Eveline!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, herrlich ruhige Lage

Wir können uns den vorherigen positiven Rezensionen nur anschließen: Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich außergewöhnlich gut geschnitten und sehr gepflegt. Gute, angenehme Betten; großzügige, neue Bäder; gut ausgestattete, offene Küche mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten. Toll ist auch der große Esstisch und die zwei Couchstühle und das Sofa, da findet jeder seinen Lieblingsplatz. Wir waren bei rund 40 Grad Außentemperatur dort – und die Ferienwohnung war weiterhin relativ kühl. Die dicken Wände helfen schon, ebenso wie das Sonnensegel vor der großen Glastür. Der Pool ist übrigens auch gepflegt, und man hat ihn zur alleinigen Nutzung. Die Lage des Hauses ist fantastisch ruhig und ablegen. Weit und breit keine anderen Häuser oder Straßen - man blickt nur ins Grüne. Dementsprechend ein toller Sternenhimmel. Es führt eine gepflasterte Straße bis zur Grundstückseinfahrt, von dort ca. 50 Meter guter Schotterweg. Nach Menerbes sind es ca. 5 Min. mit dem Auto, bis Coustellet mit einem sehr großen Supermarkt (vergleichbar mit Kaufland oder Real) ca. 15 Min. Avignon, Aix, Arles und andere schöne Städte sind jeweils ca. 1 Stunde entfernt. Evelyne, die Vermieterin, wohnt auch auf dem Gelände, was hilfreich ist, wenn man mal Fragen oder Probleme hat. Ansonsten ist man für sich, da die Eingänge/Terrassen von ihrem Haus und der Ferienwohnung in unterschiedliche Richtungen gehen.

Ruhe und Natur pur

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in den 2 Urlaubswochen. Evelyne ist eine sehr angenehme und aufmerksame Vermieterin, die bei jeder Frage sofort zur Stelle war. Der Pool ist herrlich kühl und wurde nur von uns benutzt. Die Lage ist extrem ruhig und schön im Weinberg, was natürlich mit sich bringt, dass der nächste Bäcker bzw. Supermarkt nicht gleich um die Ecke ist. Trotzdem ist man sehr schnell in Menerbes und Umgebung. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Räume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir waren in einer absoluten Hitzeperiode (bis zu 39 Grad) dort und da wird es dann trotz der dicken Mauern nach ein paar Tagen schon auch warm drinnen. Dank der Moskitonetze kann man aber nachts die Fenster gut offen lassen und dadurch immer abkühlen. Wir können dieses Haus sehr empfehlen.

Beautiful place in an ideal location to explore the Luberon

The apartment is at the back of a stone built, traditional house beside a vineyard. The views from the terrace by the front door and from each window of the apartment are stunning. Almost the definition of picture windows. The apartment has a huge, old fashioned glass front door and door surround which floods the living/kitchen/dining room with light. The main area is open plan and spacious. There is a lovely fireplace in one area and a large TV on the opposite side of the room. The kitchen area is small but well equipped. The two comfortable bedrooms each have their own large shower room, with washbasins and WC. The stone terrace has a large tile-topped table and chairs as well as loungers. It is a beautiful place on which to sit at any time of the day or evening. Evelyn is a gracious and welcoming host.

Happy holiday.

We had the most wonderful time at this gite and can only agree with the comments of the previous visitors. The area surrounding the house is the most peaceful we have ever stayed in and allowed us to completely relax and recharge our batteries. The house is equipped with everything you need and the beds and chairs are very comfortable. We slept very well. The swimming pool was very clean and was a much needed relief in the beautiful weather. Located a few minutes from the nearest village, Menerbes, it is also very close to many other picturesque places to visit. You don’t have to travel far to enjoy yourselves, that said, we took the train to Marseille and very much enjoyed that day out. Evelyne and her family were most helpful and discreet. We thank them for a lovely stay and we very much hope to return next year.
