  • Charming, Relaxing, and did I mention Location?! Originally built in 1940, with the heart-pine walls, floors & ceilings still intact. Quaint "wavy board"/live edge timber exterior from local sawmill. 2BR/1BA. Fully furnished including those inviting rockers on the perfect front porch (with cedar railings by local artisan Jeff Rymer). 2-car carport. Property plumbing and wiring updated during a remodel in 2004. Great yard including what is perhaps the prettiest native holly tree in Mentone!

    What makes this place so great is how easy it is to walk next door to the market if I need anything. I also love that I can walk to and from dinner if I choose.

    There are multiple options for coffee in the mornings. There is a coffee maker for traditional coffee grounds (medium or coarse) and also a Keurig option for K-Cups. Coffee grounds and K-Cups are not always provided so we recommend bringing your own.

    The carport is equipped with a Tesla High Power Wall Connector for Tesla Electric Vehicles.

Wonderful peaceful cabin. My kiddo loved it. Really convenient walking over to Metone Market and the other shops as well. Great place to relaxed after hiking to Desoto Falls.

We enjoyed our stay at Timber Ridge in Mentone. The cabin is within walking distance to restaurants, Saturday farmers market & the Mentone market is next door. The cabin itself had everything we needed & plenty of space for winding down. It is a short drive to both DeSoto State Park/Falls & Little River Canyon preserve. You can enjoy a magnificent sunset at Brow Park which is a very short drive from the cabin. Thanks for sharing your home!

This cabin is in a perfect place to be close to restaurants, shops, and markets. It's very spacious and the owners provide just about anything you need to be comfortable. The best part for me, is the front porch swing, just like at grandma's!

Great cabin for a weekend getaway or a full week. Shops, restaurants, state park and hiking nearby. Cabin was wonderful and absolutely perfect for 4 adults. Clean, cozy and had everything you could want or need. Front porch swing and rockers are a must for early mornings and late afternoons. The Marketplace next door is an absolute gem. Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic spring break
