Top Meols Station Hotel Reviews

The Jug & Bottle
10/10 Excellent
"The Jug & Bottle is a really well run establishment. Attention to detail in all things they do is a joy to experience. Our room was very well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices and high quality. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Our evening meal could not be bettered. The menu was varied with a wide range of choices and the wine list excellent. Delicious food and wine and very good value as indeed was the cost of our two night stay. Highly recommended."

Sheridans
8/10 Good
"Room was pristine and very comfortable. Only downside was that as the room is in hotel above bar, there was no food on offer when we arrived as there was an 18th Birthday party that evening so we were unable to avail of the facilities."

The Liver View
10/10 Excellent
"Staggeringly good hotel! Forget all the chains, this independent, family-run place is lit. Spotlessly clean rooms, phenomenal staff, handy shops for emergencies or a short drive to takeaways and restaurants. A stonesthrow from the ferry terminal, a hop across the river for Liverpool, and a great place to explore the Wirral from. I wish all hotels did it like the Liver View, because this is how it's supposed to be done - and all for an extremely affordable rate. The car park is behind the hotel, securely tucked away. The breakfast is handmade to order and will keep you going all day. There's literally nothing to fault here and everything to love. I don't return to hotels, but I will 100% return to this one the next time I need to be in the area!"

Holland House
8/10 Good
"A really good place for me to stay. A two night visit to see friends. I did meet the owners, and they we very helpful. I liked the decoration and facilities I had in my room, the Balcony Room, which not surprisingly has an outdoor balcony! A comfortable bed. Best of all, was the freshly baked bread, yummy! Its close to 2 pubs, I actually only went into one, which had great beer, did meals and had a friendly welcome. I cn't say about the other one, only because I didn't have the chance to go in. If you like sea walks along the promenade, this guest house is perfect."

Green Lodge, Wirral by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Third time I have stayed here. Lots to like Easy Access from Metro Station.Direct from Liverpool Lime Street Close to good beach side walks West Kirby a short bus ride away with nice coffee shops and beach. Hotel has 6 rooms the ones I have stayed in have been large, clean and have very comfortable beds. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Food at the upper end of Pub Grub. Hoylake is quirky with some good bars and restaurants Only slight quibble - If you arrive 20 minutes before the time of 2pm which is check in time, and your room is ready, why do you have to wait to 2pm to get in. Will certainly return."

Spacious Stylish Studio, Hoylake
10/10 Excellent
"The studio apartment was extremely clean, had everything I would need and was aesthetically pleasing. Despite being situated very close to the train station, bus routes, shops and cafes, it was quiet and I had no problem getting the rest I required when 'home'."

Spacious 3-Bed Seaside Retreat – Walk to Beach, Sleeps 6, Free Parking
8/10 Good
"Pictures didn't show what a nice space this flat really was. We had 5 adults and a teen and had plenty of room. Everything was clean and comfortable. If you're older you may want to see if the elevator was in service because it was 3rd floor. Also for Americans, theres no dryer. Otherwise, location and flat were great. Very close to bus stops and promenade. "
