My wife and I had an incredible time celebrating our honeymoon here at Jose’s place in Menorca!!!! The property itself is very cute and cozy and it is literally right next to a very nice, family friendly beach. We would wake up every morning, get ready, and walk less than a minute to go relax next to the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. The restaurant next door is also a huge bonus. The staff are hilarious and kind and the food/drinks will make you feel like you’re in heaven. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We had a fantastic time in Menorca! This property was perfect for us with two young children. Beautiful views and the perfect location. The beach was literally a 1 min walk down the ramp which made it so convenient to go back and forth. Some great restaurants in the area with a small supermarket. Everything you need on your doorstep. José was a great host, replied promptly to any queries. Would definitely be coming back to this property next summer.

Perfect location overlooking the beach…

We very much enjoyed our stay, great location and everything we needed on our doorstep. Water activities on the beach such as paddle boards and peddle boat hire really enhanced our stay, particularly for my 16 year old son. There is also a small but well stocked supermarket very close by which was very useful. The week we stayed was very warm, average daytime temp around 33c and 25- 27 c at night, was difficult to sleep as there is no AC but we slept with both double doors open to let in the breeze and soothing sounds of waves breaking onto the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment was absolutely amazing. The view from all rooms was breathtaking. The apartment has all you need and more. The apartment had just been decorated prior to our arrival and the little touches are great. Jose was a superb host and communication was so quick. Big thank you Jose. Lastly the restaurants and bar underneath, along with the staff were lovely. We’ll be back.

The location is the winner! A short walk to the beach and sea. A restaurant is underneath which was very handy (great food). All in all a great place to stop.

Wonderful location

The location of the apartment is one of the best of the entire island. The apartment is well maintained. Only the showers need some maintenance, but very ordinary. Only weak point is the missing of air conditioning, even if the breeze of the sea helps a little.

Excellent location, lovely apartment

We loved this apartment. I've been to Arenal d'en Castell many times, and this holiday stood out due to the location of the apartment. So nice to hear the sea so clearly while falling asleep. The beach is perfect for children. The apartment is so close to the beach, to many excellent restaurants and supermarkets. Also, there are pools nearby if needed (Miramar snack bar for example). Jose was always quick to deal with any queries we had.

3 generations of our family loved our week's holiday here. Property overlooking the beach. Large robust balcony looking out over the bay, perfect dining outside and ideal for a relaxing holiday with young children (no opportunity for climbing on railings) Excellent location for seaside or walking holiday. It was like being in a hotel but not paying hotel prices for food. Cafes nearby were friendly, no loud music, all serving good food. Beach had boardwalk immediately accessible from the front door, perfect for buggies or those with mobility issues. Fabulous coastal walks available to a variety of other towns and villages along the coast. The accommodation is simple but perfectly adequate for this kind of holiday.

Perfect location!

We had a very good week in Menorca. Villa's location is superb! You are on the lovely sandy beach just after taking a few steps down. There are plenty of restaurant to choose from and all of them have a good service and high quality food. There are few supermarkets and you can take a bus to other locations. The villa was very clean but need a few minor improvements. Washing mashing was not working, but it's not a problem in hot weather. Overall we are very pleased with our choice.

L'arrivée dans l'appartement est très facile grâce à toutes les infos données pas le propriétaire qui est très réactif. L'appartement est conforme à l'annonce. Il est très bien situé, en bordure de plage avec une vue imprenable sur la mer. (Sauf quand on est assis à table car le balcon est un peu en contrebas)L'appartement est joliment décoré et fonctionnel mais un peu vieillissant. Tout fonctionne bien mais les plaques de cuisson sont assez corrodées, le lave linge fait beaucoup de bruits surprenants, quand au séchage il est illusoire. Il manque aussi peut-être des plats pour le micro-onde. Nous sommes venus en fin de saison (octobre). Il y avait peu de monde, donc c'était très calme. Je ne suis pas sûre qu'on pleine saison ça soit le cas. Nous entendions le matin le bruit des chaises du resto situé juste en dessous quand ils dressaient les tables, nous avons eu des voisins pendant un weekend et on les entendait bien, ainsi que tous les gens qui passent devant la porte d'entrée. Enfin, il y avait par moment une petite odeur d'humidité dans l'appartement, mais c'est un peu normal en octobre si près de la mer quand il fait humide dehors et qu'il est difficile d'aérer.Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à Arena d'en Castel. La plage est superbe, parfaite si on a des enfants, mais aussi pour nager. L'île étant toute petite, on peut aller à peu près partout en peu de temps.

L’appartement est bien situé en bord de plage, Arenal d’en Castell est une station balnéaire familiale. Les propriétaires sont très attentionné, et vous donnnent tous les conseils nécessaires. Il manque peut-être la climatisation pour les jours de grosse chaleur, et un lave-vaisselle serait un plus également. Il y a des restaurants sous l’appartement mais cela n’occasionne pas de trop de problème de bruit mais plus de parking pour ce garer.

Emplacement privilégié et vue magnifique

Incontestablement, le gros point fort de cet appartement est son emplacement idéal : à deux pas de la plage, avec une vue magnifique et ressourçante sur toute la baie ! Nous en avons pris plein les yeux pendant tout notre séjour ! L’appartement en lui même n’est pas des plus modernes mais il est fonctionnel avec de l’espace et il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer quelques jours dans de bonnes conditions. Jose est arrangeant, tout s’est bien passé, nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour !

Fantastic Location!

The house is located right on the beach with a lovely big balcony area and plenty of space for our family of 5. It is basic but has everything you need. The entire process was extremely easy as José communicated with us before we arrived and explained the check in process. José was also very helpful with finding a doctor for my daughter who needed medication. The area is perfect for young families as the beach is very safe for swimming. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance too. This house is perfect for a relaxed and easy holiday, we will definitely be returning.
