My wife and I recently had an incredible stay at Villa Mercedes Merida. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional cleanliness and upkeep of the property. The staff were fantastic, always ready to assist with smiles and professionalism. The valet service deserves special mention for being exceedingly informative and helpful, truly the best we’ve experienced. The breakfast was another highlight, earning a solid five stars for its variety and quality. Villa Mercedes Merida is a must-book hotel, and we cannot wait to return on our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Merida. Thank you for providing such an unforgettable experience.

Its just simply not a 5 star experience at all. The facade of the building is worn The lobby is too dark Te staff at the front desk doesnt welcome you like a 5 star hotel should. The pool is freezing and not super clean. The airconditioning in the was inconsistent The parking lot smell is horrific However, Quick check was good The room and bathroom were a great size The bed was comfy The room has a balcony but the door doesnt open. I recently stayed at Villa Mercedes Curio Collection by Hilton and overall the experience was okay. The common areas and amenities appear to have been recently remodeled, which gives the hotel a modern and more upscale look. The lobby and shared spaces feel refreshed and inviting. However, the guest rooms do not reflect the same level of renovation. The furniture feels outdated and could benefit from a full refresh. The blinds in my room were visibly dirty and had signs of mold, which was disappointing. The minibar was also not functioning properly during my stay. Housekeeping standards could be improved, as bed linens were not changed daily. While this may be part of a sustainability policy, it was not clearly communicated. The pool area has potential, but it is located in a shaded section of the property, which keeps the water very cold. Even in a tropical destination like Mérida, the pool was not comfortable to use. Investing in a pool heater would significantly enhance the guest experience. In summary, while the hotel has attractive remodeled amenities and a good overall foundation, the rooms and some maintenance details need attention to match the level of the public areas.

Nice, spacious, clean, comfortable room. Surprisingly quiet. Convenient location. Plenty of hot water. Odd there weren’t many plugs next to beds for charging. Located on opposite wall. As we are vegetarians, we skipped the hotel restaurants…better options nearby for less money. Would stay here again.
