“We stayed for 3 nights April 20-23, 2026. Rooms are nice, overlooked the ocean with excellent views. Rooms cleaned each day and staff were all friendly. AC in the rooms and it was hot out. The AC worked well, not excellent, however, worked well enough. I would book this room again. There are four rooms that overlook the ocean while four other rooms that really have no view at all. ”

“This hotel definitely comes with a bit of a workout — there are quite a few stairs to climb to get around the property. That said, it’s one of those rare cases where the effort genuinely pays off. “The AC did not cool past a certain point, but was good enough. The staff seemed kind of careless. Didn't get a welcoming vibe from them. The wifi comes and goes. The water they offer is outside so it's always warm and dusty. Half the building is still under construction. The new concrete rooms look like a cold, gray, bunker. Staying there for multiple days makes you feel like you're in a dungeon. The toilet would shoot water up like a geyser when flushing. The shower is right next to a sliding……

“We really enjoyed our stay here in early December. The room decor was lovely and the beds were on opposite end of an L shape so it was great for sharing with a friend. The pool was lovely, location excellent, staff very friendly, and just a really nice ambiance and view of the trees and flowers. “Our stay at Il Gatto Rosso Adults Only started very positively. The welcome was warm and friendly, and we had a beautiful beachfront room with a private terrace. The bed had a mosquito net and the room was spacious enough. In the evenings it was also reasonably quiet, with no party noise. However, we stayed three nights and barely slept. “The room was basic, clean and comfortable. The hotel is definitely not a long term stay place. There is very little places to hang clothes. With this Hotel the woman were not friendly and always looked like you were bothering them. The guys were helpful and friendly. There is lots of parking for bikes and cars. Overall its ok probably wouldnt stay there again. Its on the main road so a little noisy but is close to the beach”

“Amazing energy and community here at Bajo Las Estrellas. The breeze at night is nice with being higher up from ground level, and the breakfast served everyday is an extra blessing! As this eco camp is filled with life and love, you can truly feel how much effort goes into maintaining this place to be the safe haven it is. Cook your own food in the communal kitchen, leave a bag of your perishable food in the fridge.. you have all you need for an affordable price here. It’s a 5 min / 8 min walk……
