「The staff who run the property are very welcoming and happy to help. The property itself is in top class condition and trumps any hotel room. Another highlight is the breakfast, which was included in my rate, which include tea or cafetière coffee, a fruit platter, cereals and a cooked breakfast (e.g. salmon and scrambled eggs on granary bread) with many options available. I would highly recommend a stay here and will come again if I am ever back in Southend.」

「We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. We were surprised with an upgrade to an executive room, which was very spacious. It has a lovely view of the sea. Room has an iron & board, a fan and haie dryer. Easy parking and instructions. Good location to explore and walk to the pier. 「The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!」
