「Nice enough hotel but very tired and a bit out of the way. Moved here after one night in Premier Inn which was much nicer and better located. No breakfast option as far as we could tell.」

「The bathroom was dirty, clearly had not been cleaned properly in some time, there was hair all over the floor, dirt build up around the shower tray and shower itself. Windows were also very dirty. The breakfast bag is not worth it as it’s not ready to go you have to wait 10mins for the hot part!」

「Lovely, interesting old building in a very good location. Given the age of the hotel there are the inevitable uneven floors and slightly steep stairs. The free parking at the rear of the hotel is a real bonus. Our room was comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated. The breakfasts were consistently good but sadly the hotel does not provide evening meals. All the staff were cheerful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.」

Hotel is in a beautiful setting with lovely large patio, plenty of outside comfortable seating with marvellous views across the gardens. Second time we have stayed here and will definitely be back again!」
