I stayed three nights in this hotel. It’s clean, quiet and staff are friendly and welcoming. Location is very good, it’s close to everything. There’s a free shuttle bus to the train station just one minute from the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location with friendly helpful staff.
The rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean , the breakfast has a very good range of different food available excellently prepared and set out , the whole hotel has a relaxed atmosphere , fifteen of us stayed for four nights and loved it , Metz is a lovely city .
The hotel was outstanding in every way .The staff were extremely attentive, nothing to much trouble . The location marvellous and the hotel bedroom suits immaculate with everything one bbedsneeded.
Hotel and staff are great. Parking in the area is challenging. City seems to be allowing far too many homeless people to bother people in pedestrianized areas.
Its a great hotel in the perfect location.
The hotel is very nice and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Airing our room was a bit difficult because of kitchen smells and french beds are very narrow! otherwise it is a lovely hotel.
If you want a hotel in the centre of Metz this is for you. However the car parking is not at the hotel and involves a 5-minute walk in this case in the rain and the rooms are quite small.
Great hotel in the city center of Metz. Nice breakfast and clean rooms. Unfortunately you cannot have dinner in the hotel. Parking is nearby in Parking La Republique (you will get a voucher).
Great location in the city centre, 5 min walk to underground car park.
Hotel very clen and daily service. Breakfast wide selection of food.
Room at front of hotel noisey in the mornings with traffic /deliveries even thou pedrestion walk way.
Overall good pleasent stay
We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Metz Centre and would highly recommend it.
The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff truly made our stay memorable.
One morning, we arrived for breakfast with only five minutes left before closing. Tomas at the front desk kindly spoke with the kitchen staff and asked them to keep the buffet available until we had finished eating. That level of customer service was greatly appreciated.
When we first arrived in Metz, we had a difficult time finding the hotel. Abigail was incredibly patient and went above and beyond by waiting outside so we could spot her waving and find our way. Her kindness immediately made us feel welcome.
On our departure day, we wanted to spend some time exploring the city center before picking up our car. Aurore graciously offered to store our luggage so we could enjoy our last few hours in Metz without having to carry our bags around.
The combination of a clean, comfortable room, great breakfast, and exceptional service from Tomas, Abigail, and Aurore made this a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Metz.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Hotel is promising and the staff were friendly. We were unfortunately woken twice by fire alarms. The old fashioned heating system also creaks and makes a huge amount of noise. Shower limited to handheld over bath rather than a stand up.
Large, new looking room and spacious bathroom. Good breakfast, helpful staff, and walking distance to all of the sites. Train station and Pompedieu Center Metz are about a 20 minute walk at a comfortable pace. Hotel is surrounded with good eating and shopping for all budgets.
