Hotel was clean, room was small but not cramped, bed was comfortable, bathroom was a little weird but the water pressure was awesome and plenty of hot water, neighborhood was safe and lots of restaurants, bus stop was close by and easy to use, the ladies at the front desk were wonderful, friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 6 days at Hotel Monarca on our first trip to CDMX. We were really happy with the location is close to everything if you are okay with walking. Is near lots of shopping and restaurants. The facility was clean and staff was friendly. Room was clean and the right size not to much just perfect.

From the moment I stepped in it is quite evident that the place is extremely well kept it was extremely clean and the rooms even more so I was there for 4 weeks and linens were changed very regularly towels daily and everything was always kept in Tip-Top shape the staff were friendly and welcoming and on every floor there were water purifier dispensers that dispense both cold and hot water and I drank it for 4 weeks and it was delicious the bed was comfy the Linens were clean and I will definitely be back to stay again

Great welcoming staff, hotel is in a very good location in Roma Norte near to a lot of good food spots, and a few steps from a famous Churreria. Room was clean, however the bathroom was very tiny and water would come cold in the middle of a shower.

Great property. I was looking for an easy place close to shops and to explore and walk around. This is perfect for that. Its clean and has a cute bathroom. I love the free water on each floor. Staff is quick and gave me an easy checkin.

My stay is great so far. I was able to do an early check-in for 300MXN, which seemed fair. What I love most is that each floor has a drinking water dispenser. The superior room's price and space is affordable. Located in the heart of Roma Norte, so it's safe all day and night.

This is a very solid Hotel for the price that you pay. It's not the cheapest. It's not the most expensive. The rooms are quite small, but efficient. We first received a room that did not have a window facing the outside, but facing an interior air ventilation space. Fresh air, but no view. They changed our room when we asked for it There is sometimes coffee downstairs in the morning. Every floor has a water system in the hallway to provide very hot water very cold water or room temperature water drinking water, of course so you can make your own tea in your room All of the employees were helpful and courteous There is always someone at the front desk, even late at night This is my second time staying in this hotel and I will stay there again The location is really perfect

Monarch is the best value in Roma Norte. Period. Located next to the Sheraton, on the main Alvaro Obregon Blvd, the hotel is in the heart of Roma, walkable to all the iconic bars (Maximo, gin gin, 99) and top restaurants (cuina, rosetta, bou). My room was spacious, clean, and outfitted with usb ports/led and a small but tidy bathroom. It is going to be noisy owing to the main street location. And while there’s a fan there’s no AC, which is fine considering all year mild climate. For a 1000 mxp nothing comes close to it in terms of value.
