The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The walls and bathroom fixtures were stained due to age and use.
The location is great if you don't have to be close to the center of the city, located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods full of colonial homes, expensive restaurants and shops. There are also plenty of street food vendors, neighborhood (cheap) restaurants, market and even a wonderful flower market. The National University campus, with its iconic murals, is within walking distance and so is the main street that traverses the city from North to South (Insurgentes).
The owner and manager of the building are approachable and informative. They allowed us to use the terrace until late in the afternoon while we waited for a suitable time to go to the airport.
The only objection I have is that they refused to allow parking our motorcycles in the property even though their Expedia add states it is available and there were 2 motorbikes using the space (there was enough space for at least 2 more).
