Enjoy breakfast on the glass lined balcony overlooking the beautiful pool and the world renowned Hollywood Beach, then just a few steps away, lounge by the pool or head to the beach for a swim or a walk.

The Tides at Hollywood Beach has been fully renovated, featuring two swimming pools with extensive sun decks, beautifully landscaped grounds, 24-Hour State-of-the-art Fitness Center, Stylish ultra-contemporary lobby, Concierge services, Valet parking, Attended front desk, 24-Hour security and Access Control.

=> Living Room is beautifully furnished with sleeper sofa with chaise loungers at each end, 60" LED TV, DVD Player, and Bluetooth Speaker System. Living room has sliding glass doors leading to the large balcony that has amazing pool and ocean views.

All windows in the bedrooms and living room have blackout shades to allow you to sleep in.

=> Dining room has seating for 6.

=> Kitchen has new cabinets with granite countertops and is fully equipped with everything you will need during your stay. An eat-in counter is also available with seating for two.

All linens, towels, kitchenware included. Four (4) beach chairs, beach umbrella and cooler are also provided for your convenience. You may also rent chairs and umbrella beachside from rental company.

This property was exactly as pictured and described. The decor was perfectly designed for the location and space. Details for use and check in were spot on! We loved our stay and will definitely go back. Clean and modern. Loved the theme and no clutter but anything we needed was available.

Lovely big condo

Property was bigger than expected, was lovely to sit on the balcony looking out over the sea/pool. Condo was very well equipped and owner was very good at communicating. Overall really enjoyed our stay in the condo. Walmart and 711 both within easy walking distance . Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the condo .

Our stay at the condo was very nice! The checkin instructions were clear and detailed. The outdoor pool was heated nicely, and made it so my kids could swim even in colder rainy weather. Furniture and beds were very comfortable! The owners were easy to get ahold of and accommodating.

We stayed at the condo mid-September, for a "girls long weekend". The condo was spacious, lots of seating space when we wanted to relax after a fun day at the beach or pool. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of closet space for all our stuff. Kitchen was well equipped to cook meals. The location is great - right on the beach and a short walk to the Broadwalk. Grocery and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

Great condo and wonderful hosts!

Jorge was an amazing host and the condo was perfect. It was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped to make meals. The hosts maintain a little beach closet with some beach toys for the kids, several beach chairs, and beach towels. The balcony view was amazing and we enjoyed using it all day. Jorge was so kind to let us check in earlier than normal so we could drop our luggage and enjoy the beach! We would absolutely book this condo again when in Fort Lauderdale. Thank you so much, Jorge, for your hospitality.

Lovely place.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The check in process was relatively easy. Don't be fooled by the hallway that might need a slight bit of updating, the unit itself is extremely nice and has everything you need. The ocean and pool view was awesome and it was so relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of waves. Hollywood Beach is more laid-back and non-commercialized (in a good way) than the Broadwalk area, although we did make a trip over there too - and it was just a few minutes away. There is a convenience store about a 1/2 block directly across the street from this unit (not inside the building) and Patagonia across the street has amazing coffee, pastries, a deli, empanadas, etc. The unit only had 2 teaspoons, so I added 4 more (for $1.00 from WalMart). :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - just spending time on the beach, sipping coffee, eating great food nearby (either there or as carry out), and watching movies. Would love to return again sometime.

Nice condo, but a few cautions

This was generally nice, but a few cautions. Pros: Great view, nicely appointed condo, condo is very large and was bigger than I was expecting, great beach access, condo provided free beach loungers and umbrellas at the beach. Cons: check-in (esp after 5pm) is really bad (you can't get access to the entire property other than the front door of the hotel until you check in after 9am the following morning at which point you need to stand in line and make sure to bring 20 cash if you have a car, checking out is similarly bad); some linens are stained and showing wear, place is mostly clean -but don't look around the edges, laundry is listed in the description -but note that it is not in-unit (and you need to pay), multiple (5) lamps were broken or needed lightbulbs (host offered to provide and then never did).

This is a very interesting place. Pros: Our host was great and responded very quickly to all questions and concerns! I would give him an 5! Our Specific condo was very nice and newly renovated. Lovely decorations and we liked that there were two beds in the second room as well as a pull out couch! We have a larger family and needed to accommodate 6-7 . This unit did that! The pool was nice and there is easy access to the beach! Cons: the level of security was so high it made us fear we had chosen an unsafe area. Rather than a nice welcoming Front desk, you have to go down a narrow hall to a back office and speak through a glass window. All residents had to wear a wrist band that had to be placed by staff while on camera. Then came the added fees!! Pay for your key fob! And we were forced to purchase 3 despite only wanting one! So there was another 90 We also had to pay for parking PLUS Pay for a parking pass? You do get a 20 dollar deposit back if you turn the pass in upon leaving, but the office was not open 24 hours so we had to make special arrangements for that. There were Warnings all over that you are “on camera”, with 100 fines if you break the rules!?! Just not welcoming at all. Security guards pacing around the pool area, as if we needed to be on our best behavior !? And we had wanted to invite our daughter (that we were meeting in town) up to the condo, but with warnings of additional fines we didn’t. Nice place, lots of rules!

Difficult Check In But Great Condo & Location

The check in process was difficult, time consuming and confusing from the parking attendant to location of the office to running out of parking hang tags and laundry cards that money has to be loaded onto to access the laundry facilities. We were counting on doing laundry before going on our cruise and the staff said there was nothing they could do so I had to go find a laundry mat which was not convenient at all and I was depending on it as per the description on VRBO. Staff was not to friendly or helpful at all. After finally getting checked in and finding our room, the room was nice and roomy and clean and just as expected. The view was great and was over looking the pool and beach. There weren't any towels in the bathrooms and we looked and finally found some in the master bedroom closet and divided between the 2 restrooms. After leaving I realized that we got over charged for the parking and waiting to hear back on a resolution. Overall, great condo horrible check in process and staff.

The good and the bad

The good: First impression at drive up, nice looking place. Apartment was as pictured. Apartment was clean. View is amazing. Lots to see and do in the area. Communication with owner seemed pretty good. The bad: Towels and linens. Towels stained threadbare and mismatched hodge-podge. Plus scavenger hunt to locate. The linens in the master while clean, were stained and dingy and the top sheet would not stay on the mattress. Make sure missing lightbulbs replaced and or lamp removed, and maybe fix exhaust fan in bathroom dangling out of the wall. Starter supplies are REALLY meager. Only stayed 3 nights but had to make a Target run. Overall the worst part was check-in. The staff are unfriendly and the area unwelcoming. Feels like you’re being processed for military service or something. Long empty hallways and random signage. Plus the rules about the elevators are a little excessive. Fees are just nuts and make you feel nickel and dimed for everything.Plus all signs and documentation say no cash accepted, BUT you HAVE to have cash for parking tag deposit (additional fee) and the ATM of course applies even more service fees.

A few things popped up here and there like no pack and play and we couldn't find the laundry card. Jorge and Mara were the most gracious and helpful hosts, always replying to our inquiries. We purchased a pack and play from Walmart and a new laundry card from the resort, and they reimbursed us for everything. The condo was clean and beautiful, with amazing views. We would definitely stay again!
