Everything about this place was 10/10! Food was delicious, customer service was top tier, and accommodations were clean. Everything down to the refreshing scents of the robes, no detail was missed. I had an over water villa with pool. The pool was clean and cleaned again during my 3 day stay. Highly recommend if staying in Zanzibar.

I loved the view. The property was nice just far away from everything. If you want seclusion it is for you. You can relax not overly crowded. Great sunsets. Food was wonderful many options. Negative comments: On the website it said Stonetown and city was 1 minute or 2 away but is an hour and 1/2. No other beach Re s nearby. No other restaurants in walking distance. Could not use credit card for excursions. Had to have a taxi take you to an ATM to pay. Some locations had limitations to amounts that is wirhdrawn. This needs to be spelled out before going, it seems. Limited English. Overall it would be excellent if it was not for the unfortunate problems.

Nous avions réservé deux chambrss différentes lors de notre séjour. La 1re une suite, la chambre était spacieuse et propre. La seconde sur pilotis. La chambre était très belle, vue sur la mer. Malgré tout, je pense que le prix est un peu surfé,pour la chambre pilotis. Je pense qu'à 500 € la nuit il y aurait pu avoir un cocktail de bienvenue et proposition du repas et du petit déjeuner ramené dans la chambre. La piscine est très sympathique avec vue sur la mer. La restauration était quand même en deca de nos attentes. Les prix pratiqués sont assez onéreux tout de même a 16.50 dollars le cocktail et 7 dollars la bière 33cl et 35.5 dollars la bouteille de rosé local. L'emplacement est quand même assez éloigné de tout. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Einfach unglaublich schönes Hotel mit tollen herum rennenden Affen. Wir konnten uns sehr erholen und das Essen war grossartig. Der einzige Nachteil das dieses Hotel hat, ist Ebe und Flut. Mann konnte entweder führ morgens oder ab 16:00 Uhr im Meer baden

My stay at Konokono Beach Resort was overall pleasant. The accommodation was okay, and most of the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. However, my experience took a very unexpected and uncomfortable turn on the night before my departure. For the first time in all my years of traveling, I was asked by the night staff to open and show the contents of my bags before leaving the hotel. This has never happened to me at any hotel before, and I sincerely hope it never happens again. What could have been a decent stay was overshadowed by this disturbing experience. No guest should ever be treated like that.

This hotel was BEAUTIFUL! The pictures do not do it any justice. We stayed at the overwater villas for one night and the service was exceptional. The food was good. They brought a floating breakfast that was delicious. Even the regular villas were really nice. Also “the rock”restaurant was 15 mins away.

Kono Kono is an Independent Resort, so you really feel the sense and warmth of the staff who go over and beyond to make your holiday the best it can be. Absolutely loved Zanzibar and will hope to visit Kono, Konko again.
