「Newly refurbished rooms were really nice, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is also a bar/pub/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. There was entertainment in the evening which was loud and we were concerned that it might disturb our sleep, but once back in the room, we couldn’t hear it. There is unrestricted public parking opposite the hotel.」

「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」

「It was a lovely stay, just one night before a day at bike park wales. I was told to leave the bike in the hall way and it was fine there. Parking was tight with a bike rack on so i dropped it to get the car over as far as i could. The room was beautifully decorated, bed comfy, shower amazing and the whole place was quiet. 」
