10 minutes from the Village of Middleburgh.
40 minutes to Windham & Hunter Mountain.

Bring along your paddle boards/kayaks and enjoy the State Environmental Preservation of Franklin Vly Pond.

Take a beautiful hike up the nostalgic Vroomans Nose.
And Visit some local breweries.

Best features are but certainly not limited to: serene sounds of the babbling creek.
The cottage is nestled right at the base of a mountain, and surrounded by state land. Peaceful stargazing, around the nighttime fire pit. Taking an inquisitive walk up the creek, up the mountain side.

Perfect getaway
I stayed at this property for a weekend getaway for myself. It's was the perfect location - the beautiful scenery, the sound of the creek that runs along the house, and the home itself. It was a peaceful, restful, restorative weekend.

Excellent stay for one or two people.
I am from Wisconsin and spent a weekend attending a wedding in the area. From the start, the owner was punctual with communication, responsive, and efficient in conducting business with me. The cottage is lovely, nicely updated with every amenity one or two people might need. The location is tranquil with plenty of natural beauty surrounding it. An excellent getaway location for a single person or couple.

Quiet Cottage
The cottage is very clean and comfortable. A quiet getaway, sit by the creek and light a fire. Very secluded and if you are looking for privacy, this is the place to be. With that said, owner should consider installing a air conditioner, as on hot summer days the tower air cooling fan isn't enough.

Handsomely updated small house by a lovely creek
Very private, tastefully renovated, this small house is the perfect getaway for a couple. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property. Amanda was lovely to communicate with. The modest exterior hides a little gem.
