Needs some work, but the people are great
I'll start with the positives: Absolutely everyone we came in contact with was helpful and very nice, and the beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Now for the rest: I'll preface this by saying we had a difficult beginning. The door code didn't work, the TV remote didn't work and we had no drinking glasses - only paper cups. I called Midway Vacation Rentals and Kyle raced to our room to help us with a new code, new batteries for the remote and two drinking glasses. As far as the room goes, you can probably tell from the photos, it is dated. What you can't tell is that the drawers in the dresser are small and somewhat sticky. The free wifi didn't work at all over a busy weekend, but did improve when the crowds had left. (I didn't try any of the pay wifi plans. I think that in 2021, paying extra for wifi is like paying extra for electricity or water.) Speaking of water, the water from the sink tap was only just barely warm. Fortunately, the water from the shower tap was hotter, but only just hot enough to use without using any cold. Resort cards were in the room to give us access to the resort amenities. However, they only sometimes worked - even in the same door. Fortunately, I found other guests who let me use theirs to access the laundry room to collect my laundry. Speaking of laundry, I was glad to see a credit card reader on the machines, but irritated when it didn't work and I had to find enough quarters after the machine was loaded. All in all, I think this place could use a little work.
