Amazing outside space
The villa and pool were spotless with everything you need for a family / friends holiday. The pool / garden maintenance was done twice during our 7 day stay and the host answered our query over the Gas BBQ instantly.
We did however have one issue which may have been down to lack of communication as we were having to use a translator. We found out on the Monday before we travelled that we needed to provide a substantial amount of cash for final balance, breakages deposit and cleaning. This was quite a stressful arrangement as would not travel with this much cash. This required daily contact to check on money transfers and visits. This was all sorted by the last day but still caused worry during the holiday. Also we were asked to take out the rubbish which we did every day as we had a car until the Friday night. We emptied and cleaned all the kitchen bins and fridge plus all bedroom and bathroom bins which left 5 bags for the villa to dispose of. We did not have a car on the Saturday when we were leaving and getting a taxi, unfortunately this meant we were met by a very 'irate' owner who brought out this rubbish and dumped it by our feet whilst we were waiting for the taxi. The bins are at least a 15 minute walk away and would easily have fit into the boot of her car. We tried to explain but she would not listen and walked off making 'unhappy noises' and shaking her head. Not a great end!
