Essentially a motel feel. Positives: cheaper than other surrounding places, close to train station and airport, above a bakery convenient for meals. Spacious room. Has a built in kitchen (didnt check to see if functional) Negatives: Old furniture and amenities. Basics are functional. Beds are slim mattresses on a frame. Can't lower the aircon temp (can open the windows, although occasionally will get cigarette smoke). Hot water is hit and miss. If youre lucky you'd get hot water otherwise it's cool or cold. Fridge was not working.

This place was so perfect for our little group, traveling on a budget and needing a kitchen close to the Milan Malpensa international airport. It’s an odd little offbeat place, which is very much to our liking. We got two rooms and a kitchen for the price of most hotel rooms. There is a bakery and café on the ground floor and you really want to arrive while the bakery is open or it can be tricky to get the information you need to check in. Although I’m told it’s possible but we made it a point to get here when someone could check us in and show us around. The room was very clean and comfortable – nice bedding, great towels, a terrific shower with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. And there’s dedicated parking. What more could you want for an overnight stay just minutes from the airport?

Bon plan.

Super Cute!

We enjoyed our nights stay here. It was nice to have the bakery downstairs to grab a snack if needed. It is only a couple blocks away from Gallarate's cute little downtown...which we were pleasantly surprised with. My only gripe would be with the beds and pillows. Beds are too stiff and pillows are too flat, but that seems to be the case around all of Europe.

The property is located above a bakery and is clean and comfortable, however there is nothing to do in Gallarate. The breakfast included no bread and butter or cheese. Just whatever sweet they had in the bakery. It is a good place for one night stop if you have to.
