"This is truly a special place. The photos simply do not capture how beautiful the home, setting, and views are in person. The location is perfect—close to everything, yet peaceful and relaxing.This was our second stay, and we can confidently say we would not stay anywhere else in the Finger Lakes. It feels like our home away from home, and our dogs absolutely love it.For a weekend escape or a longer getaway, this is the place. Exceptional in every way."

"This is a rare rental property right on Seneca Lake. 6 adults, a toddler and a dog all fit with room to spare. Close to Watkins Glen, Geneva, wineries, breweries and restaurants. It was a great family weekend!"

"The house was great! It felt really clean aside from a few lake spiders or bugs (to be expected). It was perfect for the 2 of us. The view was incredible even though it rained for the majority of our stay. It was still perfectly relaxing. The owners are really responsive and easy to communicate with. The only real gripe is that I don't think there is enough warning about how physically have to get down to the cottage. You can't see it from the road and it's deep within the cliff. You have to park your car on the top of a hill and make your way down a very steep, long embankment where you come to more steep stairs down to the cottage. This made carrying luggage /groceries down and up extremely difficult and for someone with severe hip issues, it was almost unmanageable. I had to take breaks going up the stairs and hill. I knew there were stairs down to the lake but I had no idea how hard it would be to just get to the cottage itself (located much above the lake)."

"The property was everything we expected. The host was very accessible and even dropped by to give us an idea of how to maximize our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen had spices and plenty of utensils, pots and pans, etc. We would definitely return and rent this property again."
