Carriage House Retreat 1

A great space all to yourself for longer stays or a short retreat. This single unit apartment is located on 7 private wooded acres with access to our pond, parking, and great scenery. This one bedroom apartment has a washer/dryer combo, queen sized bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa. Only 30 minutes from downtown Cincinnati and 10 minutes from historical downtown Milford. This property is a prime location for both business travelers and vacationers looking to be close to everything and enjoy nature.

Owners live onsite with their children and 2 poodles.

I loved the quiet solitude of being near a pond with the chickens scooting around. The Carriage House was clean, efficient and well provisioned. And, our host was very attentive to any requests.

Beautiful ground floor apartment in a 2 story carriage house. Perfectly kept, very clean, nicely decorated, well maintained. Everything worked and it was equipped with everything we needed. Near Milford, which was our starting point for our bike ride on the Little Miami Bike Trail. We liked it so well that I extended the stay for an extra day, and the process with the host was quick and painless.

The apartment is very nicely done! Very clean & the couch is comfy. As we were in town to help relatives, we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the property outside, but it was quite pretty. CH1 is the first floor unit. It is well-insulated sound-wise, except that the floors creak when the people upstairs walk— we’re light sleepers & that woke us up a couple of times. The driveway has a VERY steep short hill, which was okay in the summer but I’d be cautious about renting it in the winter. The hosts were great & kept in touch without being obtrusive. Overall, its a very nice place to stay.
