“This was advertised as a Verbo apartment, It was a truck stop. A fleabitten truckstop with REAL BUGS THROUGHOUT!!! Tub had bugs and we could not take a shower. We bought sheets and a blanket, Toilet handle was falling off. Smoke alarm had masking tape covering it, NEVER EVER GO THERE UNLESS YOU WERE HOMELESS. It may not even be a step up. Parking was very far away. I have pictures if you need or want them.”

“House looks great from the outside. Very quiet, rural neighborhood. Inside the house looks good at first. But we noticed cigarette burns on the couch and curtains, as well as a large stain of some sort on the couch. Noticed small ants on the floor crawling around. Kitchen sink did not work. No water flow at all. Washer and dryer had a do not use sign on them. I inquired to the owner about the sign and he said that it would cost extra to use them even though they were listed as amenities in the……

“Being within walking distance of Kings Dominion is definitely a perk, it's super handy after long days at the park.”

“Price fits what you get, parking and WiFi included is decent compared to other spots I've seen.”

“Room was cozy with nice colors that lifted my mood. Wi-Fi worked well enough for browsing, which was handy since we were planning outings. Having a refrigerator in the room helped us keep drinks cool after our long days. It felt like home away from home.”

“Would tell anyone passing through to stop here. The clean rooms helped me sleep well, and the quick check-in was appreciated. Air-conditioning kept things comfortable during my stay. Parking was a breeze too, right outside the room.”

“This was my first VRBO experience and I loved how easy it was. The cottage is rustic and simple but that’s exactly what I was looking for. I ended up not making it to the winery, but it was an easy drive into Colonial Beach and over to George Washington’s birthplace. And a cozy place to curl up and read during the afternoon thunderstorm!”

“Great place, super cute and walking distance to everything. Host was great!”

“Calm atmosphere helped us relax after busy days exploring nearby sights, I truly valued that environment during my stay here.”

“One of the highlights? A microwave in the room that came in handy for midnight munchies!”

“We had a slight hiccup with the code to enter the house and had to call the VRBO call center. He was able to contact the host and the code was sent. Other than that 10 minute hiccups the rest of the stay was enjoyable. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the house was perfect for the 6 of us.We chose this place because it was two families vacationing together and it was cheaper than a hotel and close to Kings Dominion, restaurants, and stores.”

“Needed a decent sleep before the drive and got it. The bed was comfortable enough for a night, and I appreciated how quickly check-in went. Free parking right outside made things smooth. For what I paid, I'm happy with the stay.”

“Great house and host!!”

“Fast easy check in. Gorgeous place. House was very clean. Beds were comfy. Pool was clean and water was warm. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a long day. We had no phone service there but the WiFi worked great. We had our kids with us and they loved it too. We will stay here again next time we are in the area. Highly recommend.”

“What an adorable country cottage. We came up for just 1 night for a family function and felt right at home. We are a family of four with 2 adult children but you could easily have 2 more children and a baby here. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious with cozy nooks and nice front porch. Very clean and beds are comfortable. Everything you need in the kitchen including full spice rack. We will definitely be back.”

“House was very nice and very private. The location is tucked away from Colonial Beach, but just a short drive away for a visit. The kayaks and the water were a favorite for my kids. The kitchen was FULLY stocked with all of the tools we needed and that was a very nice touch. It was easy to get settled and provided plenty of space for our family.”
