“We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would……

Asunto oli saapuessani kylmä kuin ryssän helvetti, mutta onneksi sekä olo- että makuuhuoneessa oli lämpöpatterit, joilla asunnon sai vuorokaudessa siedettävän lämpöiseksi. Kylpyhuoneessa ei ollut mitään lämmitystä, joten lämpimiin pohjoismaisiin asuntoihin tottuneena palelin, vaikka oli vasta marraskuu. Asunto on mukavan tilava yhdelle tai kahdelle hengelle, hyvin varusteltu ja siisti, ja erittäin lähellä Huddersfieldin rautatieasemaa, joten tänne on helppo ja……

“A little gem. Beautiful decor and finished to a high standard. Extremely clean and lovely little touches in the room such as chocolates and tea making facilities . Nearby to centre and walking distance to Piece Hall. Will definitely book again if coming to stay in Halifax. ”

We would have liked more shelving in the bathroom for our toiletries and we thought the shower mat looked a bit grimy.The outdoor space was useful for our grandson to run around in. We thought there could have been more toilet rolls. We would definitey return here in the future when we visit our family in Halifax!”

“An excellent property, very homely, cosy and welcoming. Would definitely return. Found laundry basket, spare mattress covers and oven gloves in main bedroom. Not a great problem at all, but think these items were inadvertently left at the changeover clean. But this is not an important criticism - the property was wonderful.”
