Surrounded by gum trees, Tiny Sophie is a slice of silent paradise, just 15-minutes from Merimbula town centre. Thoughtfully designed so that you can lie in bed with a panoramic view of Merimbula Lake and the ocean.

Set just 15-minutes from Merimbula town centre and the beach. Although the Sapphire Coast is renowned for its natural beauty, there are also delicious eateries, historic spots, art galleries and even an amusement park to explore.

Merimbula was impacted by the 2019/20 bushfires, and as an area that relies heavily on tourism it’s a great place to show your support for local traders. Buy fresh local produce in town, and head 10-minutes south of Merimbula to Pambula for quality boutique clothing shops, galleries, collectibles and handcrafted gifts.
This tiny house takes its name from the plucky character of Sophie from Roald Dahl’s imaginative and witty novel The BFG.

The Space:
Tiny Sophie sleeps up to four with a Queen bed in the window and a double bed in the loft. There is also a reverse-cycle air-conditioner and heating unit.

We provide bedding, linen and towels, USB charger, fridge, fresh water for drinking, hot shower, eco-friendly compost toilet, fan, stove, BBQ, fire pit, outdoor stove, cutlery and plates, outdoor seating, books, games and provisions (soap, shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, matches and oil). You only need to bring food and drinks. Our tiny houses are powered by the sun and gas bottles. There are normal 240-volt power points in this house, but please don't try to charge large devices.
