No traffic on the short road and easy access to the river, Hodenpyl Dam, and lots of National Forest trails. Short jump to Mesick for groceries and gas was very convenient. 「When I pulled up and saw the signs ( not that I’m political) on the property I started to cancel, but when I went in the lady (Pat) was very pleasant and friendly. I end up staying and I must say that my stay was wonderful and very relaxing. I loved that the cabin was very clean and equipped with everything I needed. I’m planning on going back real soon.」

「Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts are great! Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!」

「My husband and I stayed here to kick off our anniversary road trip, and we were so happy we did! The cabins are clean, cute and cozy. You can hear the creek babbling from the cabins as you lay in bed. We really enjoyed our gifts that were left in the cabin and also the amenities they had available in the common area. I would love to stay again!」

「The accommodations were nice, place has a beautiful view of the river; only downside is we lost power a number of times. It was only for a few minutes at a time and multiple days, but it was annoying.」
