"Nice property,beautiful place right on the river bank, good amenities and communication with the host. I would suggest to change the mattress in both rooms because they are very uncomfortable. "

"This was a perfect vacation for our family. Loved everything about the entire experience. Owner was super responsive & when the stove did not work, he got a technician to fix it right before our arrival. The beds were very comfortable including the linens. Will surely come again. "

"My wife and I enjoyed the quiet and seclusion of this cosy, clean cottage and its location with a view of its pond and surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and kitchen and bathroom amenities were fine. The cottage was a short drive to walking trails and the town which has several historical features. Amy was very helpful and responsive to our questions and needs. We would certainly book the cottage again if we were to come back to this area of Ontario."

"On one end of the scenic village of Haliburton. There's a lake across the road. The shared bathroom is ultra modern. The beds were comfortable with new bedding. It was a bonus to have the use of an equipped kitchen. The rooms were on the 2nd floor, accessible only by stairs. Host met us at our pre-established arrival time."

"The property is definitely dated, but v clean. Needed a place to stay for a local race which required 3 nights accommodation. Price was right, and then I was also informed at check in that bc the pool wasn’t open, I would be receiving an additional discount. Nice! Staff were wonderful, and provided me a lot of detail about what amenities were on site, AND the restaurant was open until 10pm which was great! Bed was comfy, loved having a balcony overlooking the little pond in front of the property. Parking and room access was easy, and room was well-equipped with a fridge and toiletries. Also the softest towels I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! Would love to come back in the summer with my kiddo to explore the area and facilities further. "
