「Yes we got soggy, but warming up by the fire was great. Our teenager loved attending to the open fire. Cute cottage, right in the middle of the village was great to walk everywhere, but also nice and quiet. I guess we were there out of season, but still welcoming pubs and beautiful walks.」

「We stayed over Christmas for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay (Family of 8). Communication before we arrived was great. The home is well furnished and spacious. It’s clean and all the rooms are very generous sized and well laid out. Whilst phone reception is hit or miss the Wi-Fi can’t be faulted and was good in all rooms. I have no hesitation in rating this properly as 5 stars and would totally recommend. We will definitely be looking to come back again.」

「Hillview is a lovely comfortable house right in the centre of Minehead. We had a lovely stay with the extended family and everybody had plenty of space. Hillview is a little tired around some of the edges (stair case to name one) and although bathrooms, bedding and towels were all clean the cooker wasn't (with a dirty grill pan left form the previous renters), the floor in and around the cooker not very clean and the rungs of the hob need a good clean. The dishwasher needed salt and the filters...

「We have stayed at the cottage several times and we love it! The cottage is immaculate. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, even a towel in the porch for muddy dog paws. The weather was mixed but we managed to go walking every day. Walked up to North Hill and saw some lovely Exmoor ponies and our dog loved playing on Dunster beach. We will definitely be back.」
