Great family getaway

We enjoyed being really close to the water, using the paddle boards, And swimming in the warm water. The house was beautiful and even though it only had two bedrooms, there was plenty of place for everyone to have their own space.

Check in was not good. I was given the wrong door code and couldn’t get in. Had to call and receive a new code which didn’t work then had to be given a code to a different lockbox to get a key. The next day I was given the correct code. Other than that we had an enjoyable time.

This property was wonderful!

The views from the dock and the amenities available at this property made the trip a memorable one! Checking in and out was very smooth! Kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed to cook a meal. Great time and fantastic space!

Adventure meets quiet and cozy

A hidden treasure in the woods!

Beautiful and relaxing lakehouse

The house is spacious and situated in a gorgeous private setting. The views to the lake were better than the photos indicated and the living room furniture was particularly comfortable. This cove part of the lake is exceptionally calm and perfect for fishing and kayaking.

Great Rental

We loved spending our 10-year anniversary at the lake! The house was perfect! It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed tims at lake anna and lake anna tap house, both were close by!

Quiet and Lovely

Our family spent a few days here for spring break getaway and it was just what we were looking for. Quiet and lovely place on the water, beautiful views, and comfortable house. The house was big enough for multiple families but it was just four of us so plenty of space. Our favorite part was being able to take kayaks out right from the backyard, would have been extra nice to have fishing poles so the kids could fish! We went on a nearby hike and visited a local brewery which was great! Just some minor inconveniences like the fireplace wouldn’t turn on, there were no firestarters for the fire pit outside,a little trouble with getting in, and the directory was a bit outdated (many of the numbers didn’t work) but overall, it was a beautiful couple days on the water and we would not hesitate to stay here again! Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Peaceful getaway

A lovely house, nicely decorated, comfy furniture and beds, new bathrooms. Plenty of outdoor seating, including on the dock and firepit. Well-stocked kitchen. Great location, quiet private cove, lots of shady trees, warm water for swimming, very few boats/jet skis going by (though this is off-season). Really, really quiet. Looks like good fishing as well.

All Season Getaway

We were pleasantly surprised that kayaking and paddle boarding was an option the 1st of April. The cove provided a slightly warmer water temp and our kids had a great time on the water. This is a beautiful property that can be enjoyed any season.

Wonderful Week at Hidden Gem

Our week at the lake house was absolutely incredible. The property was very well maintained. Our kids had a blast fishing, swimming and paddle boarding. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood that is off the beaten path. It truly felt like you had a great deal of privacy. The house was clean and inviting. We hated that we had to leave, but all good things must come to an end. We can’t recommend this place enough, just a fantastic overall experience.

If you’re looking for a house on the private side of the lake that has a boat launch this house DOES NOT have one. Their listing says it does and also that it doesn’t. When I inquired about it I was told twice that it DID have a boat launch and I would be given access when I checked in. When I arrived I reached out to vacasa about this and they then told me it did not. When I explained my frustration and that I had been told it did and we planned our entire trip around putting our boat in-they said sorry, but we do not offer any refunds for amenities. What?!? We have tried calling to speak to a manager repeatedly with no response. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. The house is just ok but I would definitely not call it allergy free or accurately described in the listing- given it claims there is a boat launch and apparently their own employees don’t know the details of the property. Completely horrible experience and trip. If Vacasa is managing this property I would not recommend it!
