Great house the Eagles are amazing, looking forward to going back with the whole family next summ...

Gorgeous views of the lake from all of the decks, enjoyed breakfast outside viewing Lake Anna. Peaceful with the sounds of nature and the occasional boat driving by, made the trip so worth it for me.

Great spot to enjoy Lake Anna

We loved the location and the wildlife viewing. The name eagle's perch is not a misnomer - we had 10 plus bald eagle sightings around the house. Tons of other birds were frequent visitors. The dock was great and the layout was perfect for our group of 8. Would definitely stay again. Be aware that the path down to the dock is quite steep and would be a challenge for anyone with mobility limitations.

Relaxing get away

The house had a very homey relaxing environment. It had all the amenities you could want in the kitchen and the appliances looked new and modern. I would recommend bringing a baby gate to keep little ones and dogs from going down the very steep deck steps. The path/steps to the lake are not difficult at all to walk down and we are in our 70's. The beds were very comfortable and the dogs loved the small yard to the side of the house. The outside of the house needs a little TLC in regards to the decks and railings but overall it was a very relaxing place to stay and we would love to return again to it in the future.

2 complaints- listing needs an update and not clean

In general the property is nice and spacious. The location is great, the view is amazing. However there were a few things that overshadowed the good parts and thus will keep us from booking again. 1) the listing is not accurate. The “double sided gas log fireplace” is not usable for guests. Huge bummer. The kayak paddles were locked up, not sure if that was bc it’s not summertime or if there is some magic key we couldn’t locate. 2) the house was NOT clean when we arrived. There was so much dog hair on the floors. We tried to push it all into a corner but there was too much. Not sure how the “cleaning crew” missed that as it was everywhere (!). When I let the rental agency know they basically said what do you want us to do about it? Hmmmm really? Not the answering I was expecting. Like I said, the place is great in general but when you are paying a prime rate for 4 nights I expect it to be clean. Also the listing needs to be updated to remove gas fireplace as it’s very misleading since guests can’t use it.

Great location on Lake. No yard for kids

The location on the lake was ideal to get to The Cove, Tim’s and great fishing and tubing spots. The walkway up or down to the dock was brutal . Older occupants may really struggle. Could use more outdoor seating. There is plenty of room for it on the basement level. Kitchen was stocked well. A second refrigerator would have been helpful. Overall it was a good stay.

Loved this house!

What a great place to relax. We even got to see a bald eagle and a woodpecker!! The kitchen has all the gadgets too! Air fryer, griddle, lots of dishes. We will definitely rent again.

Perfect Location In Need of TLC

We loved the location; but the house is in need of TLC. A deep clean is needed. Along with carpet replacement, painting on all levels, back entrance needs to be replaced, power washing of outside/deck, rotted spindles on the deck, slider did not lock in the basement. Hope these items will be addressed its a great house overall and location is perfect!

House was nice but not quiet.

It was very difficult to get to the water with the big ditch and rocks that were in the middle of the path that was under construction for running electic to the boat house. The house next door constantly had a bob cat running a jack hammer and a backhoe beeping all day Friday and Saturday. There was no break, constant load noise both days. We went for peace and quiet and literally got the opposite. The house was nice but we were disappointed with the experience.
