Your cozy getaway awaits in Minerva at this adorable house. Skiing, hiking, rafting and the beach close by. The property also offers wood burning stove, a gym, and washer and dryer, plus numerous decks and wildlife. Our place is equipped for both long or short stays to make your holiday one to remember.

  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

We had a wonderful time at Steve's cabin in the woods. The property is absolutely stunning and well maintained, the home is well-stocked and cozy, and we loved making our way through an impressive CD and movie collection! We would definitely come back.

Cozy Winter Getaway

It was the perfect house for two families to enjoy for a short ski trip. The owner was available for any questions we had. The internet happened to be down which was the only downfall because it was New Years Eve and the kids were very excited to watch the ball drop. Easy drive from Gore and plenty of space!
