"This is a beautiful hotel and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely and the rooftop pool and bar were great additions. The buffet breakfast was excellent too. Would definitely recommend. "

"The room was just ok. Very small, cheap amenities and the first night there was a very bad smell in the bathroom— sewage smell. Talk with the front desk the following morning and it was corrected Carpets in the hallway and elevator are in deep need of a good cleaning. That doesn’t give a good image. The staff was very attentive and responsive. Very good staff. "

"Interesting older hotel with an older and a newer wing. I stayed in the older wing in a nice large room but it was certainly dated."

"One of the most impressive entrances I’ve seen and a very pleasant check in. Pool area very good, with a shaded area. Pool bar great for food and drinks with cracking staff. My single room was good, a few maintenance issues compared to the rest of the hotel. About a 20 minute walk down a steepish hill and a typically busy road, with shops and eateries, to the lake. Highly recommended. "

"The room was spacious and clean, but it needed painting. When we booked we saw photos of the kitchen area and believed we could cook food in the room, however the hob was not connected to the gas and there was no cooking equipment. So this made our stay more expensive as we had to eat out all the time. The view from the pool is amazing and it was clean, however I cut myself on the tiles and there were lots of sharp edges around. The gym needs updating and tidying up. We asked for laundry twice, no one ever collected our clothes. We also asked for someone to help us use the safe, no one came. The food was really nice and good value, staff were friendly. Overall the hotel needs tidying up and and a refresh."
