Great Pool and Game Room

We enjoyed the home; we all had our own bedrooms. The indoor pool and game room were the two areas of the home we used the most.

This place offers such a variety of things to do.

Beautiful pool, saunas and even has a dining table for sixteen. Games for everyone.

My family gathered for a week and had a delightful time. The pool was a hit! The kitchen was well supplied, there were plenty of towels and beds. We did have a problem with the dryer not heating. The manager came immediately, but was unable to fix the dryer. The one drawback from the listing is that the pool table was not in good condition, at all! My family enjoys playing pool, and I consider a pool table a plus in a rental. It should be replaced or repaired or not be featured in the listing.

Football Fans

Our group likes to travel to watch our football team and explore new cities. Our say here was excellent and we really enjoyed how we could all be in the same spaces as there are several large areas to hang out together.

Perfect weekend getaway

We stayed for a weekend and had a fantastic time. Everything was as pictured. The property was clean. We loved that there was all sorts of gear for the pool already there. Kitchen was nicely stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Well laid out for our 4 grown kids, spouses and 3 grandkids

Everything worked, the indoor pool was fantastic! many of us have jobs and it was always easy to find a quiet room to "Teams" or work. A big grocery store is near by, as well as a lot of restaurants as well.

Gatewood Stay

The home is beautiful. The kids had a wonderful time in the pool. Seating is great as our gruop is large.The kitchen towel and dish cloths were lacking. There were 2 towels and two dish cloths.The one chair in the television room has a bolt missing and was difficult to get into and out of.Thanks for the cleanliness and other amenities.

Plenty of Space!

We had plenty of room to spread out our 17 people! The indoor pool, theatre and billiard rooms were very useful. The netting on the catwalk above the pool was a nice safety touch. The dining room table was a great gathering space for all. The amount of chlorine in the pool was a bit too strong though, most of the kids broke out in a rash after swimming. The other reviews mentioned lack of enough pots and pans so we brought our own, and we were very glad that we did. All is all, a lovely weekend away that we would be happy to return to!

Exceeded expectations

This is a great property. The house was spacious, clean and inviting. We loved being able to hang out together or spread out throughout the multiple living areas. Comfy furniture and beds. Great dining space with room for everyone. We spent many hours enjoying the pool, which was warm and awesome for the January days! Perfect for our group of friends and small kids. Will recommend to others and would absolutely rent again.

Comfy and cozy space. Easy and responsive communication. Neighbors a little closer than expected. Nice walking trails. So many tvs. Softer lighting options would be nice.

Family retreat

The accomodations were great. The pool and spa were a great hit with the children and adults. The kitchen lacked cooking pot and pans for a group our size. The dishwasher needs repair. The dishes had a film on them after washing and needed to be hand washed and also the drying portion of the cycle did not dry the dishes. The front door was unlocked when we arrived. When we left I could hear the lock and hopefully it was locked. We would stay again.

Great Location

The house was as pictured. The indoor swimming pool was fantastic, as was the games and bar area. Everything was as great, except the kitchen was not stocked very well. There were only two pots and two small frying pans, hardly any cooking utensils. We had to go and buy a couple of pots and a large frying pan and cooking and serving utensils. For such a big house you would expect the kitchen to be fully stocked. Other than the kitchen, the house was great!

FAMILY WEEKEND HERE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

When you pull up to the house you think it's small, but it was huge inside! We have a very large family and it was perfect for a long weekend for us. This is our Christmas gift to our kids and grandkids and it did not disappoint! The pool was a hit and it was a full size pool. The boys loved playing basketball in there and the younger ones loved floating around and playing in the pool with no time limits! We did bring our own floaties to use. Beach towels were provided there. The sauna was a big hit! I loved that the bedrooms upstairs are away from the pool table area, so the boys could play pool into the night and we didn't hear them. 3 1/2 bathrooms were great as that is always needed! We loved that we could put our truck in the garage for the weekend. The house is the last one on that street, so no traffic. They had plenty of extra throw blankets around to use in the comfy recliners when they watched TV upstairs. The bar area was perfect with round tables to play games and puzzles on. Only thing I would say is needed is extra garbage cans downstairs as we like to recycle and keep garbage separate. We also like to wash our dishes, so could have used a dish tray with some dish rags, towels and some scrubbies for the pans. Otherwise they have a dishwasher for use. We just had a lot of pans to clean and loved the big sink. There is Super Target close by if in need of items. Highly recommend this house for a get away! Thanks for a fun weekend!
