Worth the cost

From the moment you open the front door, you know you are somewhere special. The home is just that, a home, a beautiful place with all the comforts. We wanted relaxation away from a busy beach and that is what we had.

Wonderful Property!

This beautiful house is very up to date with top of the line appliances and beautiful interior. We particularly found the 2 washers and 2 dryers as well as 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators and other extra appliances so helpful. The house is located very close to shopping and is of course right on the beautiful beach, which was prepared for us daily with lounging chairs and umbrellas. The property was very clean and the host responded quickly to any questions.

Wonderful experience

This place hit the spot for our family of 10. Because the house was empty we were allowed to check in early (thank goodness) and the littles immediately hit the beach. The pool was a lifesaver, lots of room on the outdoor deck and a short walk to the ocean. Loved the kitchen! It had everything we needed as we ate in most meals. The house was roomy with beautiful artwork. Had plenty of beach towels and we made use of the two washers and dryers on site. A great place to make wonderful memories!

Family Beach Trip 2024

Thanksgiving Gathering

This property was among my top favorites; the location, the home furnishings ( super home-like and comfy ); perfect amount of space to spread out; the pool facing ocean, so peaceful & serene. Miramar Beach Family 2024

The property was beautiful! Very well maintained, organized, and very clean!! We were all pleased with our stay. Our group ranged from 1-65 years of age. The elevator was a life saver. There were 17 of us and the place was spacious enough for all. The kitchen was fabulous!!! It was so put together! Thank you to the label maker! Finally a dining table that could fit all of us! The bedrooms and bathrooms were tastefully decorated and we enjoyed the whimsical artwork throughout the house. The beach was just right off the deck. Our chairs and umbrellas were set up early every day. The infinity pool was most welcomed at the end of the day and when the ocean became too strong. Working with Kelly was a breeze. She got back to me quickly on everything!!! We appreciate having the owners opening up their beach home for us!

We have stayed in 12 VRBO houses and this has been the best one yet The fact that there were many supplies, well labeled, was a huge plus. The deal was replace anything we used for the next people. There were many spices, cooking supplies, & towels to name a few.

Best Ever Vacation

We have been coming to the Gulf coast for 40 years, and this was by far the best accommodations for our family. Spacious, beautiful, close to beach, private. We will return. Thanks for the memories.

Great location on the beach.

We luck out with great weather. The main floor and location on the beach were fantastic. The only drawback was the doors were very difficult to lock. I could not do it and had to get help.

Felt like home “Amazing”

I have stayed many of places on the beach. Anywhere from hotels, condos and homes. This home far exceeded every expectation. We already booked it for another vacation this summer. They had everything you would possibly need for a great time at the beach. You could tell that the family that owns the home takes pride in sharing it with others such as my family.

Our second year staying here!

We have stayed here for two consecutive years, so that says a lot for the home! Right on a beautiful beach and close to a grocery store and activities! Weather didn’t cooperate but the kids enjoyed the pool! Katy was quick to answer questions we had so we appreciated her. The home is spacious enough for a large family! We were able to spread out and have our own private spaces. Would recommend this lovely home😊

Exactly as advertised. Excellent stay, elevator was a life saver for the elderly. One heads up...this is a STOCKED house, more so than most VRBO. You should not bring anything...instead, check when you get there before you buy stuff including spices, staples, paper, games etc as much of what you need is already there. We will be coming back! Property manager is wxcellent to work with. Five stars.

Second Stay at Gulf Pines

This was our second year coming here, and it this was better than before. Kelly is very responsive on even the smallest of matters, regardless of what time of day. Updates have been made since last year including a beautiful new walk-in shower in one of the master suites, freshly painted inside and out, new pool heater that worked great, and daily beach chair/umbrella service provided which was an added bonus. This property works great for us having younger children, it is a very quiet house. Can't recommend highly enough. Thanks, Kelly!

Awesome beach house

Wonderful home located steps from a quiet beach. Perfect for families with kids. We spent so much time on the large deck just enjoying the ocean view, hot tub and heated pool. Doesn't get much better. The great room and kitchen located off the main deck is very convenient and offers everything you need. Two laundry rooms, double dishwashers, 3 refrigerators and an ice machine is perfect for entertaining a large group. Easy access to local attractions if for some crazy reason you decide to leave the house for the day. The only negative (certainly minor) is that the private lower level suite is not accessible to the main house without going outside, so it's not ideal for small kids. Otherwise this is an amazing property with every convenience. Kelly was very responsive to our questions and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect layout for families with young kids

This home has everything. The layout and construction were perfect, meaning it was so quiet on every floor despite a busy house. Ocean views from every bedroom (with the exception of the ground floor apartment under the house, separate from the main quarters which we didn't use). The owners provide a fully stocked pantry, kitchen, cleaning products, first aid, beach towels, beach and ocean toys, sunscreen, sunglasses, games, etc. Just pack your clothes and shop for fresh food when you're there. The elevator made moving luggage up/down 3 floors a breeze. It is evident this is a well-loved home and the owners take great care that their guests enjoy their stay. This is not a corporately operated rental in the very best way. Sunset views are exceptional. The only disappointment was the pool heater was out of service during our stay, though Kelly made a genuine effort to expedite its repair it was unable to get up and running in time. She sent a lovely gift basket to the house with her sincere apologies. If available we'd stay here again in a heartbeat before looking at other beachfront properties on future trips to the area.

Plenty of Room

The house has plenty of room so if the kids are annoying you its easy to get away. The kitchen and deck space are great for relaxing. The door I see people complaining about is not that hard. Just read the very easy to follow instructions in the email they send. The owner was responsive to any questions we had. The only three minor complaints I have: There are a bunch of popped nails on the back deck. You need to wear sandals out there. We had one kid cut his foot pretty bad so everyone wore foot coverings after that which seems goofy around a pool. The other "complaint" is that they only set up 4 chairs and one umbrella for a house that holds 16 people. And some days they don't set it up at all. I think for what I paid they could have put up 2 or 3 umbrellas and done it daily. Finally, the pool alarm is super super annoying, but you get used to it. Overall it is really a wonderful place and its obvious the owners have made many great memories there. It is pretty cool to get to share that. There are plenty of beach toys, but you can't use the golf cart. The owner did refer me to a place that did rent golf carts though so that was nice. If we rent there again I will probably ask for a housekeeping service to be there during the day just to deal with dishes and towels, but that is just me. Great place and yes I would recommend it.

A great vacation home = happy family !

This was our first time to stay at this home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with established homes on both sides, so no construction noise. There are condo developments on either side, but not within 3 blocks, so traffic in the neighborhood is nil. The home itself is on four levels. A bedroom on the ground level is not connected to the rest of the house without going outside to an elevator, but was very comfortable, and useful for a part of the group desiring some privacy. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were numerous and clean. The home's great room is really special. The kitchen has a large island and makes it easy to make and serve meals buffet style. A separate counter space for preparing drinks with an ice maker and fridge is a great addition. I was very impressed with how stocked the home is with cooking pots, pans, utensils etc. The owners have invested in quality equipment in areas where other homes have cut corners (in my experience). AV equipment, TVs, and Wifi were all functional and good quality. We did not have any issues with teenagers complaining about internet speed - a definite plus! The beach in front of the house is wonderful - not crowded by condo residents, no steep descent, and gradual slope once in the water. We were never worried about our young swimmers. The home has an awesome supply of water toys, including kayaks, a paddle board, and floating island. The whole family was entertained the entire week. My wife's favorite part of the home were the outside showers with privacy fences - we did not have any appreciable sand follow us into the house after a day of swimming, beach combing! She hates walking on sand in the bedroom! We had a wonderful vacation, and would love to return in the future. Every family member ranked the home as their favorite of the four beach houses we have rented in the area in the past few years. Thank you for such a great experience!

Great family vacay

Plenty of space for a large family and all the amenities to make cooking and cleaning for a group as easy as possible (two sinks, ovens, dishwashers, etc). Private, direct access beach meant more time playing and zero time packing, planning, hauling. Gorgeous view!

Awesome Vacation Home

This home was the perfect place for a memorable family vacation--private beach access, gorgeous infinity pool, beautiful deck, roomy house, phenomenal kitchen, bar and pantry.....We wished that the area had recycling and that the ground floor bedroom had better access to the rest of the house. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Great house and location on beach with pool for a family reunion. We had a baby and 2 small kids and 13 adults. Perfect layout and accommodations. Short walk to beach. Elevator was mandatory for father-in-law and made the stay easy. Nintendo though doesn't hook up to TV-you need to bring your own cords. Having all the amenities made it so much easier and enjoyable. Thank you!!
