Quiet Relaxing fun and beautiful

The place was beautiful. It was so quiet and relaxing! So much to do in the Baytowne village area. Lots of live entertainment and great spots to eat and shop. Everything is so close. We will definitely be back! Great for singles and families. Our girl trip was awesome!

Great unit and neighborhood

We loved this comfortable and well decorated condo! There were just two of us, but I appreciated the large and comfortable sectional sofa with plenty of seating for a larger group. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed each having our own bathroom and closet space. The steps didn’t bother us, but there are steps from the parking garage down to the street level and steps from the courtyard up to the front entry door. Then once inside your bedrooms are both upstairs. It wasn’t an issue for us but if you had a lot of luggage or groceries it might seem like a lot to navigate. The community with walking paths, restaurants, and coffee shops was great. We drove to the beach and parked in the Sandestin lot by The Beach House restaurant, and rented beach service chairs and umbrella from the yellow hut on the beach. Each TV had 3 remotes and we had to reboot the cable box to get any cable channels. We discovered a few minor maintenance items which we reported, since they were things you wouldn’t readily notice when cleaning. The property manager was very responsive and helpful! We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed the stay, but communication could have been better

Overall, the property was nice. Modern, lots of natural light, clean, and roomy. It definitely has that New Orleans vibe, similar to the property next door. But not as tastefully decorated, nor as cozy. The reason for the lower rating is mainly due to the lackluster communication. It started off well. But it took the property manager a day, usually, to respond back to texts. For example, Friday morning, I asked where the gym was located. She didn’t respond with an answer until Sunday morning, a few hours before checkout. Also, our first night, none of the cable boxes worked (weirdly, they were all behind the tv where the signal from the remote could not reach it.) I sent a text that night asking about it, but didn’t get a response until the next morning. By then, my husband had figured out the problem. Also, we asked for the WiFi password the same night, but didn’t get a response until the next day. I’m not saying the communication was horrible. When I sound to the property manager, she was very nice. I just suggest calling her directly as opposed to relying on text or email, if you need a speedy response.

Amazing Area!!

The atmosphere was wonderful, close to the beach and you have to go to the roof top pool. We had an issue with the AC unit but they brought in portables on the 4th of July! I would go again and again!!

Well organized, easy to communicate with. Together we could not figure out how to stop the air conditioning from cutting off at 2:30-3am every morning and necessitating I wake up to turn it back down because everyone was sweating. Should have an easy solution.

Conveniently located in the Wharf

Great location to do all activities at Baytowne Wharf. Beautifully kept property with most kitchen items needed. We had a small issue with one of the beds, but staff was attentive and quickly solved the problem. Only minus was that there are no elevators at this property, and unit is located on second floor, along with all bedrooms located upstairs within the property.

French Quarter Feel

We loved our time in the Baytowne Wharf! The unit was beautiful with a ton of natural lighting and open concept on the first level. The kitchen was great! The set up was perfect for hosting with a living room, kitchen, and half bath on the main level. The bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs provided plenty of amenities for our family of 5. Even though we were in the heart of Baytowne it was quiet when needed. It was great to have entertainment, shopping, and dining only a few steps away. A few things to note: - there are several steps to get to the unit as the entry is above other establishments. We were fine with it and welcomed the exercise, but important for others to know in case you have difficulty with steps and carrying items up and down them. There is no elevator access. We would leave our stroller in the entryway at the bottom of the steps. - the closest pool is a little bit of a walk. We enjoyed a different pool that required driving. It is newer and heated. It was much cleaner as well. - we had everything we needed for meal prep. Toiletries are provided but will only last a couple days which is mentioned in the welcome letter so we brought extra. The host was easily accessible as needed!
