Wonderful vacation rental

The vacation rental was amazing. Pool only a couple houses away and very clean. Can use the golf cart to explore the community. Everything you need within minutes beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery store. The rental was equipped with everything needed and very clean. Enough room for everyone to sit and watch tv and plenty of room for eating as well. Definitely would stay again.

Cozy and relaxing

The house was so clean and beautiful. It was also comfortable . We all enjoyed the screened in front porch. My husband and I enjoyed the pool. I walk with a walker and could go anytime with no help. Great stay.

My family stayed here o er Labor Day weekend and it was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with nice equip and all of it was in great condition, not old and over-used like others rentals. There was ample towels and wash clothes, and the rental management group left sweet travel items on the counters. The rooms were nice and the beds were way comfy!! We loved the decor and vibe of the home. The house offers nice beach chairs and umbrellas, along with coolers for you to get drinks to the beach. The pool is very close so our kids could swim. The golf cart was very convenient and our kids enjoyed the rides around the resort. I would recommend this home and we come to Sandestin yearly, so this might be our new favorite place.

We enjoyed our stay. The quality of the sheets on the bed was great. Slept very good. The golf cart is old. It was hard to steer. We were afraid to get very far from the place in it. We own a golf cart so we know how they should drive. You need to get that one refurbished. Everything was great and clean. Love the front porch. We stayed out there a lot. Would stay there again.

The pool was very close, and the pet friendly home was a plus. The beds were very comfortable, the living room furniture is starting to show some wear, but it's to be expected with a vacation home. We had a few minor issues that were resolved quickly by My Vacation Haven. Unfortunately, did not have use of the golf cart during the entire week, which was the low-light of our trip, but the rental company did work with us on an acceptable resolution.

Lovely home in an excellent location

My family and I travel to the area at least once a year, and this is by far our favorite of all the places we’ve rented. The home is exactly as described and was very clean—love the front porch! Plenty of seating in the living room, the beds were extremely comfy with soft linens, and there were ample towels and wash cloths. The toiletry and kitchen essentials boxes are a great touch and helpful if you forget anything. The people in the area are super friendly. Perfect location for our dog as we were able to easily take him out for his walks with zero concerns about safety. It was convenient having the golf cart available to head to Baytowne or the beach. Very close to several off-resort shopping areas, restaurants, and other beaches. Communication from property management was timely and helpful. We didn’t have any issues during our stay and expectations for check out were clear. We will definitely book this property again. Highly recommend.

Awesome Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was fine except the issue with the golf cart. It was in need of repairs of which actually made it unsafe to operate. After pleading with them to come and inspect it, they were in agreement with me.We were without it for a couple of days. Thankfully we were provided with a loner, which all I can say is it was a loner. Other than that everything was absolutely awesome!! I've booked several vacations using this company and will continue to, but this particular golf cart can really be a deal breaker especially when it's used as a huge selling point.

Reviewer Comments: We took my son for his bday and we loved the property and house is very nice. The main issue is there is no instructions or book of things around. We figured things out as we were there. It wasn't till the second day that we discovered the tunnel to the beach, we drove first day. There is nothing at property telling you anything about the golf cart, rules, the property... Nothing. The beach is a good 10-15 minute golf cart away. It's also the beach that everyone there and at all the hotels around go to, it's sectioned off and that's the only spot you can go. Thus it's crowded as heck. Expect no personal space at the beach, you're in there like sardines. Sucks you can't go further down the beach. Also there is an awesome little Baytown with restaurants and arcades etc at the resort, but we didn't find it till the 3rd night because again, there isn't a book or map or anything at property telling you about where you are. But that baytown place is great. We had a great time there! Ate a few different places. My son really loved fishing at the property, he caught 2 basses. The folks all around are very friendly. Overall we had a good time, main thing is we're use to books or manuals at beach house, lists of places and restaurants around, and this house had nothing! Not even a guest book! Also the golf cart is awesome but just wish there was a rule book or map of where you can and can't go with it. Also don't forget a wine opener! Learned that the hard way because this place doesn't have one

Plenty of room for 5 guest with 3 very spacious bedrooms. Great high ceilings and big rooms in general. Fully equipped kitchen with lot's of appliances, out door grill. The outdoor seating area is a great place to for morning coffee and to wind down at the end of the evening. Very close to the pool. Located on the Sandestin resort which has it's own beach area which was easy to access. Overall highly satisfied with the home and location.The golf cart is another story. Upon checking in to the unit is was observed that the safety bar on the back of the cart was very rusted and about ready to fall off (to which it did break on the 1st outing on the resort). Contacted the front office about the cart and was told that it was noticed during their inspection as well but was deemed acceptable to be used. I was also told that in the broken state that they would send a technician up to see if they could fix it and not to use it. SO the convivence of using the cart was lost at that time and we had to drive our vehicle everywhere we went on the resort. There were calls back and forth with the office everyday of my stay to try and get an update as having the golf cart was part of the reasoning for picking this vacation rental for the convivence. Finally at the end of the week the cart was taken to get fixed but we were told on our last day that we would not be getting it back to use and in fact the next party coming in would not have it either. I was not compensated anything for that not being accessible to be used as this unit is advertised with the cart. So that part left a disappointment portion to our stay.

Reviewer Comments: family of 13, two houses, next door to each other. perfect ... except the DAY before we arrive we are informed the golf cart would not be available, but would have a loner. loner was a piece of ****! when i book, i book by golf cart - it is a GOLF CART community. should not be listed as a AMEMITY! the house was good, one of the beds in a guest room is broken, didn't know until late in the week, room used late in week. we made the best of the week.

Family Time

My sister and I took our teens to the beach and truly enjoyed ourselves. Even though I prefer to stay on the beach side, the property amenities and the gulf cart made it easy to deal with.

Baytowne Bungalos

We really enjoyed our stay in the Bungalos. It is a very charming areas and home. The home is located an a cute street and only a few hundred feet from the pool. The home was very clean and contained everything you need. We would definitely stay here again

Stay at the Bungalow area

The whole Sandestin Golf & Beach resort area is amazing. The house was nice, clean, and what we expected. Having the golf cart to use was also nice but the cart with the lift kit and off-road tires was hard to steer and very noisy going down the road. I would recommend this property and would stay here again if in the area.

Great rental for families

Great rental for families. Baytowne has something to enjoy at any time of the year. Some carpet stains, but it's to be expected with a pet-friendly unit. The golf cart is a great feature but needs some TLC to address cleanliness, rust, etc.
