「This was by far the most amazing small getaway I've had! It's Close enough to town to experience Agnes water & 1770, but far enough away to experience pin drop silent nights under the stars. If you are the adventurous type & want to try off grid living, this is the perfect place. The couple that runs it are extremely friendly and took care of our every need. I cannot recommend this place enough.」

「Our stay with Helene & Manfred was amazing the unit is perfect although a little cold in winter with no heating. In saying that the unit is spacious clean and extremely well stocked. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is lovely. The surroundings are beautiful with Kangaroo's and other wildlife visiting. Helene and Manfred are wildlife carers and allowed us to visit the huge Avery which is attached to the house to see the sugar gliders and hold a baby. Helene & Manfred are wonderful hosts...

「When my wife contracted Covid owners were very good and let us change our booking at no extra cost. It meant we couldn’t have the mentioned accommodation and we were in the Bali Retreat their other unit which was great. We were a little way from the beaches but there wasn’t much traffic and it was no problem at all. It meant we travelled past the local IGA supermarket which was ideal.」

「A unique and lovely place to stay with it's own sense of style. The owners are wildlife carers rehabbing sugar gliders for release into the wild. They showed us how this works and we were able to actually hold one. Where else in the world can you do that?? Highly recommended.」
